This is a very busy photo, and cover in general, so it's to her credit that your eyes go right to her face.

I love how this is framed: she's dead center, with the window (or art, or whatever) radiating out from her. It's awesome.

We were only allowed to use three photos and I was REALLY torn between this one [and the one of her sitting on a bar laughing](https://hips.hearstapps.com/hmg-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/images/cos080122feacoverstory-003-1669763196.jpg?resize=980:%2A&ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io); in the end I went with this one because the dress is FABULOUS and regal on her. But seriously, sitting on a bar, standing on a table, [standing on a couch](https://hips.hearstapps.com/hmg-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/images/cos080122feacoverstory-002-1669921552.jpg?resize=980:%2A&ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), shooting from low angles,[shooting from REALLY low angles as she comes down stairs](https://hips.hearstapps.com/hmg-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/images/cos080122feacoverstory-007-1669763428.png?resize=980:%2A&ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), wearing ginormous platforms... it feels like they were obsessed with downplaying how petite she is? Which is silly. She's perfect the way she is. She's also a f\*cking dynamo.

[Quinta Brunson Parties on CosmopolitanLive it UP, I say.![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2022/12/082022-cosmo-issue8-quintabrunson-cover-1670479705.jpg)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/quinta-brunson-parties-on-cosmopolitan-12-2022/)
