It felt like it took Rachel Brosnahan a while to figure out how to dress herself so she didn't look TOO much like Mrs Maisel when she was off duty -- she was hampered by the fact that she looks very cute in those retro silhouettes, so it was likely irksome to avoid them. But voila! She *does* look like she's in a period piece here, but it's not a 1950s/early 1960s vibe. This is more Chic Key Party at My LA-Area Mid Century Modern Home With a Kidney-Shaped Pool, circa 1971 and you know what? That's fun. Let's lean in.
