Ramona and Beezus - 2010
Joey is, as the olds say (of which I am now one), as cute as a button on this poster. I never saw this to know how well the movie represented these two, but this makes Beezus look like a babysitter who's afraid she isn't going to get paid.

I am getting soft in my old age, because this seems like a very reasonable outfit to m, whereas in 2010 I'm sure I would have screamed about formal shorts. I DO still think red carpet pockets are terrible. Don't jam your hands in them, at least, folks.

These two are seven years apart in age. For whatever reason, I have never thought of them as being that far apart, until I rediscovered this photo. Selena Gomez still looks 20.
Selena! You NAB, STAT. Get into your tim machine. Otherwise, this is very sweet and both of them look great.
I am charmed. I wonder if they still talk, or how much they even talked then. I feel like Selena MUST have been a childhood idol of Joey's, given that Selena herself grew up in the business. And above all, I hop they both read all the Ramona books.
