I need to note that I have NO IDEA what this movie is about, judging from the ads -- you don't need to tell me, I am fine living in ignorance; I know it's a based on a book that many of you enjoyed/read and I hope it lives up to everyone's expectations, I am just saying: I feel like the commercials for it are really bad. It is HARD getting people to the theatre these days, and this movie cost a fortune, so I am surprised that the ads for it are so oblique. They kind of feel like everyone who gave notes on them forgot that a lot of people who would be seeing said ads hadn't already seen the movie, if that makes sense? HAVING SAID THAT, its premiere brought out the best in a lot of people, and ergo I am pleased regardless.
