# Rear Window Premiere 1954

Jimmy Stewart -- whom I adore -- does look slightly like he's mansplaining to Grace how film premieres work. Her dress is absolutely timeless and every so slightly Kelly-and-Brenda-Wear-the-Same-Dress. Her eyebrows are perfect.

## Alfred Hitchcock, Grace Kelly and Oleg Cassini

This is honestly just a great photo; Hitchcock's pictures rarely feel this unstudied. Kelly was costumed by Edith Head in the film -- if you haven't seen it, her costumes are FANTASTIC; she wears a peignoire (that pops out of a great Mark Cross bag) I've never forgotten --but I don't know who did this dress. HOWEVER! Grace's date at this event was fashion designer Oleg Cassini here -- I did NOT know they were an item but they were actually engaged at one point -- so perhaps it is his work. And a snap of guests Jose Ferrer and his then-wife Rosemary Clooney. (Who is, of course, George's aunt. Yes, youngs, George Clooney is also a nepotism baby.) (She was quite a dish.) Her first autobiography is a classic in the genre of Actually Dishy Celeb Books. PSA!
