I just...don't want to do this. I can deal with Dior on Marion Cotillard -- she can kind of pull it off. I have come to a place of acceptance of it on Jennifer Lawrence, although I think it's a totally misguided marriage of star and designer and I basically always hate what they make her wear. But as much as I love the idea of Rihanna being the face of Dior, conceptually -- Rihanna has a great face! - I just...don't want to do this. Half the time, I think Rihanna looks SARTORIALLY DERANGED but she always looks like herself and I hate the idea that this deal is going to change that. Because I really feel like this dress SCREAMS, "they made me wear this."
I mean, maybe I'm wrong. I do have to give Dior credit for signing women with strong, dynamic personalities. I just feel like half the time they can't dress said women to their best advantage and it bums me out.

That's at least feels organic on her, to me. I mean, it is NUTBALLS, but it seems about right. She LOVES to wear a robe instead of what the rest of us would call "outdoor clothes."

Wait until you see the back of this.

I TOLD YOU.
