I want to like this, but it's a BIT like a cat scratched a grocery bag.

It looks better when she's not being quite so buffeted by high winds. But it's also not the most enchanting choice on her figure. It eats her waist too much.

This one is much more flattering, I think. I also dig the pattern.

This is also pretty on her; you know how much I love the MO in prints, and it's worth noting that Princess Lalla Salma's orange frock is also lively.
In the name of some informative captioning, FLOTUS and her mother and daughters went to Morocco, Liberia, and Spain to promote Let Girls Learn, which is an organization essentially doing exactly what it sounds like: encouraging young girls to further their educations as much as possible.

I assume here they're discussing whether Michelle secretly prefers Harvard or Princeton, given that she attended both. I wish I had this whole dress in a photo, because it's actually much better than this photo suggests; fortunately Us Weekly sprang for it.

Hmm. I might prefer it without sleeves? I also might prefer it if it were just the skirt pattern. That top is a bit of an ugly grandma sweater.

LOVE Michelle's shoe choice here, but the top of this dress doesn't fit her, and the cut is REALLY embiggening. I assume she is complaining about that right now to Letizia, who is therefore emphatically trying to sell her on slacks and blazers as a viable option.

Here, FLOTUS is with members of the Peace Corps, and I adore what she's wearing. It also says a lot that it stands out against the energetic colors present elsewhere in this photo.

This is an old pic we hadn't used yet. Informative caption: "U.S. First lady Michelle Obama welcomes students and artists to perform during the White House Turnaround Arts Talent Show in the East Room at the White House." If I am not mistaken, the skirt is Alice + Olivia.

I wish we had her standing up in this, because I might LOVE IT.

Family trip to Carlsbad! Liking the pattern again, MO. I really think you should stick to those.
