My computer screen doesn't render black dresses in very sharp detail, so often I miss the details. Here, I THINK there is some seaming running diagonally across her thigh, which is not my favorite? But the draping of her bust and midsection is pretty flattering -- like, Vivienne Westwood flattering -- so that's a win. I'm not sure how I feel about the jewelry, though. A hand cuff by any other visual still reeks of restriction.

This is a cool idea, but I'm not sure it ever really lifts off. The buttons are gapping on her hip, and the draping at her abdomen reads more like pulling than anything precise. It's basically making her thigh do all the work. Which it seems more than able to do, so that's handy.

Her face can certainly carry minimalist makeup, but it means her styling isn't doing ANYTHING to elevate these looks into anything truly memorable. And yes, before we go any further: Reader, it's pants.

I don't entirely hate it on her, largely because of the lapels, but it's basically a WRAP jumpsuit, right? You can see this better in the previous picture, actually -- there appears to be a tie on her hip. Which to me just gives it bulk; a cleaner line might have been snazzier. As jumpsuits go, it's working. Listen, one can't die on EVERY hill.
