Somewhere, Elaine Benes woke up in a cold sweat -- certain that someone has stolen her favorite dress.

I should be horrified by this -- she's apparently going to the recording studio, NOT running out of a fiery highrise which burst into flames just as she was sitting down at her vanity to remove her makeup before bed -- but it kind of makes me giggle. The marabou-trimmed shoes represent SUCH devotion to theme.

It amuses me when Rihanna wields her purse as if she needs to protect her modesty, when in fact she is wearing jean shorts and a full-coverage blazer and should flaunt the entire thing.

This may ALSO be pajamas, in which case I like to think she's asking her Hot Bodyguard (I think that's who that dude is; of course, he might also be her CPA, her friend, her manicurist, her new boyfriend, the head of her book club, the dude who teaches her pilates, her favorite doorman, a PhD she's hired to discuss quantum physics with her, or her new songwriting partner, but I am going with body guard for now), "Seriously, would you please tell me when the agenda for this evening involves leaving the house? THANKS."

To me, this is Rihanna's College Student costume. Including a hoodie with the hem ripped apart, like she was unconsciously worrying at it while working on her essay for her American Architects of the 20th Century midterm.

This feels composed of bits and pieces from very corner of her bedroom, but her lipstick game is STRONG herein.

This was at the Christian Dior show in Tokyo about a month ago, and we just forgot to bring it to you. So far, Dior's doing better by RiRi than it did by J Law. Let us hope this trend continues.
