I like the idea of the LBD with a touch of leather, and she herself looks nice, if a bit like she isn't really enjoying Bill Hader's proximity. (WHY? WHY, AMY? HE IS STEFAN. HE. HAS. EVERYTHING.) in fairness, she does not smile with open lips in ANY of the red carpet pictures we had on Getty. None. Not one. Including the ones in which she is clutching Leslie Mann to her bosom, or standing with her sister. It makes me wonder who tried to coach that out of her. Because it reads studied, like she's TRYING to smile but just not with any teeth showing, and the end result is a bit tense and smug in a way I suspect she did not intend.
ANYWAY. My beef with the dress: If you think you are maybe seeing sideboob, YOU ARE RIGHT. Behold...

The look on her face is kind of like, "Yep. I did this. No regrets, except maybe for the regrets."

I like this on her, though. It's simple but it works, especially for a daytime event at which she was presenting the film with LeBron James. I might have worn stilts, but whatever.

And this is her for that Apple Store event. That color is very pretty on her, but indeed, the wrinkles are a mess. That dress is allergic to sitting of any kind. I just bought one from Boden that I LOVE because it's SO CUTE but a) they're sold out in other sizes and it needs a little tailoring for me to look my best in it, and b) the fabric is a little persnickety in this way and so I'm wondering if I will ever wear it even if I DO invest the money in a tailor. Oh, the fascinating decisions with which I grapple. WHAT WILL I DO?!?!?!? Can you stand it? Me me me!
