I think this dress is good on her. It feels on theme, but very much in her wheelhouse, and it's very pretty on her. Obviously, we all want to see her in a color, but the black is VERY Maleficent-y.

Speaking of dressing nearly in costume. I actually love the dress, but I worry the color washes her out and I am not a fan of the flowered garland. On anyone, really, except a flower girl. This was originally shown with a ruff and I've never said this before, but I think it kind of needed the ruff.

I DESPERATELY wish Elle's dress were in a color. The cream makes it look like underwear, and she's so pale and blonde that it makes her all monochromatic. But in (say) an ice blue, maybe? Angelina, on the other hand, looks AWESOME. Her day dress has birds on it, which feels VERY appropriately Maleficent, without giving me the creeps.
