Sharon Stone

This is just hilarious to me. It looks like a cover-up she will wear while swanning around the lanai at the biggest pool party of the season. Those giant sleeves will flap every time she waves a hand to summon for another cork to pop. By the end of the night, two of those strings will no longer be whole.

Michelle Williams in Patou

This is pretty, and also a great argument for why I wish she had stuck with the warmer shade of blond hair.

Michelle Williams in Giambattista Valli

Her hair does look a bit warmer here, so either the lighting was different, or she hit the salon between this picture and the former (which was taken a day after).

Diane Kruger in Giambattista Valli

I find myself out of words.

Diane Kruger in Balmain

This is much cuter.

Freida Pinto

She looks lovely in this. I'm not sprung on the ruffle, but the rest is divine.

Freida Pinto

But I LOVE this one. It's so tactile and bright.

Zoe Saldana

She cuts a dramatic figure in this. And this gives me an excuse to complain about how many times I've seen her T-Mobile ad -- mostly the long one -- and how TERRIBLE she is in it, acting-wise? And how she's like, "Zoe, you're an action star!" IS SHE? (Not her fault; she didn't write it.)

Zoe Saldana

That's a very nice tablecloth of a dress. And I actually mean that to be more complimentary than it sounds. It definitely looks like it has matching napkins, but it's also good on her.

Gwyneth Paltrow

I guess she popped over after the Fashion Awards. She looks... fine? A little severe maybe.

Halle Berry

Okay! I'll go there with you, Halle.

Baz Luhrmann and Catherine Martin

I laughed out loud. NEVER CHANGE, you two.

Paz Vega

I did NOT recognize her at first, and also, I love that it appears some wind is blowing onto her AND the suit is designed to look like a feather is wafting past.

Lucas Bravo

Speaking of people I didn't initially recognize! That is NOT his Emily In Paris hair and I reject it completely.

Ed Westwick

Love that suit for him; had forgotten about him entirely.

Will Smith

Will did a lot of press over there and seems pretty damn stoked about it.

Michelle Rodriguez

That's fab on her. Well played, madam.

Michelle Rodriguez

Funky AND with an interesting shoe choice. No celebrity shoe intervention needed.

Naomi Campbell

Why is anyone giving Naomi Campbell a gown that looks like the seamstress ran out of time?

Naomi Campbell

I truly believe she could have ditched the cape. The gown is great without it, AND no more cumbersome lugging and bathroom-wrangling. Although I imagine Naomi has someone who wrangles it for her in bathrooms.

Sofia Vergara

I'm not sure what she was there for, but hey, have at it, Sofia. She looks nice.

Alessandra Ambrosio

Hard to be mad at this -- it's very effective use of sheers and it's dramatic as hell.

Sharon Stone

We end as we began, except without the thrill of wondering whether a guest in a deck chair will accidentally take a Moet cork to the head.
