The poster

It's so awkward to see "and Janeane Garofalo" tossed on the bottom of the poster there like it's part of the title. Also interesting to me: The fact that Mira Sorvino looks like a serial killer, and that these echo the iconic outfits from the final scene but the colors are different.

In the movie, Mira wears blue, and Lisa's is more pink. I'm trying to imagine the conversations at HQ that led to them insisting Mira HAD to be in red.

I love this still. Alan Cumming back there just casually slaying it is amazing.

I feel like, were they here with us today, they'd have worn a LOT of bright Modcloth summer dresses.

Mira's 3 of Hearts shirt makes me laugh.

This movie did a good job making Romy and Michele the most colorful things in their universe...

Film and Television

... until this moment, when they were pointedly in black and the others are in pastels. This is when they're tamping down their true selves and pretending they invented Post-Its, so they go dark.

I need a purse that could double as a popcorn bucket.

Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino

Here are the ladies at their premiere, with Mira looking totally adorable except for her plastic shoes, and Lisa looking like she can barely contain her surprise and desperately wants to hiss something to Mira through clenched teeth. What might that thing have been?

with Quentin Tarantino

I imagine it would have been something like, "Damn, Mira, could Quentin have TRIED?"

"Oh, look, 1, 2, 3, 4, and if I open up this triangle it says TELL QUENTIN TO BUY A SUIT."

Mira and her mom seem like a hoot.

So, this is David Faustino -- of Married, With Children fame -- with Elaine Hendrix, of this movie and of course The Parent Trap. I... did not know they ever dated. I also did not know they were hot for Sid Vicious.

Matthew Perry

Could he BE any worse at blending his foundation into his hairline?

Let Us Reunite With Romy & Michele's High School Reunion
