Renee Zellweger plays [Pam Hupp](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pam%5FHupp?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), real-life diabolical killer, in *The Thing About Pam*. Courteney Cox plays Pat Phelps, fictional writer whose family moves into a house that may be haunted but only she seems to notice, in *Shining Vale*. The Pam and Pat projects premiered yesterday in the P.M., so perhaps we should peek in parallel?
