RESPECT Premiere

Audra McDonald

We are starting with a more boring look, admittedly, but I love Audra McDonald and could not resist bringing you her awesomeness first. I love that she kicked up the lipstick and the accessories with this beige sheath.

Tori Kelly

But WHAT is this? Boring beige bodysuit BAH.

Michael K Williams

"Forget about that. I'm here for you. I'M ALWAYS HERE FOR YOU."

Jordin Sparks

She looks very cute.

Thuso Mbedu

This is fine, but looks like it should be a costume in a ballet about the boardroom.

Tate Donovan

Is Tate angling for his own Science Guy show? He's going to have to change his name, because "Tate Donovan, the Chemistry Man" doesn't quite rhyme AND it's clunky.

Brenda Nicole Moorer

I bet this was fun to twirl in, and I hope she did.

Saycon Sengbloh

I think I'd make this shorter, yes? (She plays Erma Franklin, and is in the new Wonder Years remake that's coming up. News you can maybe use.)

Hailey Kilgore

This photo makes it look like she discovered too late that wrangling the top of this thing was a major pain. Or perhaps I'm projecting. OR BOTH.

Kimberly Scott

What a gorgeous pattern.

Marlon Wayans

The white sneakers are maybe a little TOO blindingly crisp? But he looks GOOD.

Titus Burgess

TITUS ANDROMEDON HAS HAIR. I DID NOT PREPARE MYSELF. He has probably had hair before, or even for a while, but because I know him in my heart as his Kimmy Schmidt character it's going to take me a minute.

Elijah Kelley

There is a LOT happening here. Starting with the fact that when I was trying to sort out if the length of his jacket is weird, I realized he might be wearing a jumpsuit, and ending with the shoes.

Brandon Gilpin

I think I would have taken off the bow tie, or the jacket.

Tracey Scott Wilson

I did not expect a green satin (?) three-piece suit... but I LOVE it? She looks great.

Anthony Hamilton

More monochromatic ZING for you.

Tinashe

Even though I do not recognize sports bras as tops, I have to admit this is cute. Once you get past that part. If you can.

Diane Guerrero

This feels like something she got for the Emmys and then forgot Orange Is The New Black isn't on anymore.

Trell Thomas

This is one heck of an ink blot test.

Kennedy Chanel

Delightful.

Debbie Allen and Vivian Nixon

Vivian's dress is great. Not that Debbie looks bad, but it's just sort of blank.

Skye Dakota Turner

She plays young Aretha, in what is effectively her first role. What a way to start.

Leroy McClain

This is SNAZZY, as promised. I'm not sure how I feel about pants that have that hem... well, I am pretty confident that I'm not that into them, actually, but he is rising above as best as one can.

Derek Hough, Hayley Erbert

Dude, live in the moment. At least put your phone away until you get inside.
