It's *Rivals* week all of a sudden, with three episodes dropping on Friday, and then I THINK three more weekly until we pause and get the final six in August? Sigh. I wish they could just let us have them for summer. (We ARE covering them for [Drinks With Broads](https://drinkswithbroads.substack.com/), beginning with a refresher in today's paid issue.) But, [they've added Hayley Atwell as a recast for Rupert's ex-wife](https://deadline.com/2026/05/rivals-season-2-execs-jilly-cooper-david-tennant-new-cast-1236899185/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), who had been played by Anastasia Griffith in the first series; she'll be married to Rupert Everett. So many Ruperts! A dupe of Ruperts.
