This feels perfectly Seventeen to me: It's peppy and preppy and wholesome, which is also a nice antithesis to Veronica, who is dark and moody and occasionally mysterious, and whose parents are basically the Sopranos of *Riverdale*.

And obviously Betty is very pink and fluffy and ponytailed, so Seventeen was wise to let her hair down and give her a witchier take on cheerwear. Those shoes, though. They could snap an ankle.

This even FEELS like an afterthought. Did her agents get upset and call *Seventeen*, or something? Oh, CHERYL. This is just totally disengaged, to me. Creatively speaking at the very least. I mean, I guess Cheryl is very technicolor on the show, so maybe this was their attempt at contrast? She seems dazed, though.

He looks like he's about to release a country album called Let's Talk About Periods. There's an elegiac anthem called "With Wings," a gritty rock number about how cramps work, and a really sad twangy ballad about toxic shock syndrome.
