[Robert Wun said his collection's starting point](https://wwd.com/runway/fall-couture-2025/paris/robert-wun/review/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) was "the frenzy and confusion he experienced behind the scenes during preparations for last year’s Met Gala," and then, "Part whodunnit, part get-ready-with-me, he explored the different stages of preparing for what was to be a very strange day." This cracks me up because this first dress looks like a crime scene, and he's totally done [horror-inspired](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/robert-wuns-couture-debut-was-inspired-by-horror-01-2023/) and [murder-adjacent](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/robert-wun-pulled-off-another-couture-horror-show-01-2024/) collections before; maybe fashion people just really enrage him.

There's some gorgeous stuff in the rest of the collection -- it is overall low on murder -- but the final hat is the stuff of actual nightmares.
