Color me surprised, but I actually like this. Those ruffles would hit me in ALL the wrong places, but on her they're not unflattering. They give the skirt an interesting shape and a floaty, romantic feel. It's almost like she's fighting REALLY HARD against the title of the movie, given that Gone Girl -- her most famous role to date -- was ALLLLL about hostility.

This is excellent no-makeup makeup. Everything is slightly enhanced, but in a way that doesn't feel in photos like it's face paint.

The same shoes from the previous slide are here, and I LOVE them. They're a really gorgeously cut, simple black shoe that THANK GOD breaks away from the one-strap. As for the outfit... I somehow simultaneously think she looks really good in it, and also strongly dislike the blouse. It looks like a sawn-off Havisham costume.

It's also WIDE open in the back and a bit billowy, so she'd better hope that netting in the front manages to do its nipple-hiding duty. I feel like if she so much as swivels too quickly, she might bring some thunder.
