This is the first Christmas after they got married, and we got no hand-holding this year -- although I'm sure everyone was alight with the joy of knowing that finally Kate was allowed to sleep at Sandringham like a real member of the family. ## Christmas, 2011 ![Royal Family Christmas Pictures](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/12/christmas2012-1482362324.jpg) I must note that I love this hat on her and wish she would wear it again. It's so festive! It's like if Robin Hood and Christmas had a baby. ## Christmas, 2011 ![Royal Family Christmas Pictures](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/12/FFN_BIG_Royals_Sandringham_122611jpg_8320244-1482362390.jpg) 8320244 The Royal Family attends Christmas Day Service at Sandringham in Norfolk, England FameFlynet, Inc - Beverly Hills, CA, USA - +1 (310) 505-9876 RESTRICTIONS APPLY: USA ONLY We may have been denied hand-holding in 2011, but we were given haireography. ## Christmas, 2013 ![Royal Family Christmas Pictures](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2016/12/christmas2013williakate-1482362342.jpg) KING'S LYNN, ENGLAND - DECEMBER 25: Prince William, Duke of Cambridge (L) and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (R) arrive for the Christmas Day service at Sandringham on December 25, 2013 in King's Lynn, England. (Photo by Chris Jackson/Getty Images) Wills and Kate spent Christmas 2012 with the Middletons -- Kate was freshly pregnant, and presumably spent the entire time barfing -- but they came back to the Royal Family Christmas Parade with A BANG in the form of my favorite Christmas coat and major holding of hands. ## Christmas, 2013 ![Royal Family Christmas Pictures](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/12/459296293_10-1482362249.jpeg) KING'S LYNN, ENGLAND - DECEMBER 25: Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge arrive for the Christmas Day service at Sandringham on December 25, 2013 in King's Lynn, England. (Photo by Chris Jackson/Getty Images) This is the outfit we put on Bex for a pivotal Christmas scene in *The Royal We*. We didn't do that a ton in the book, but using this coat was irresistable. ## Christmas, 2013 ![Royal Family Christmas Pictures](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/12/459296379_10-1482362268.jpeg) KING'S LYNN, ENGLAND - DECEMBER 25: Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie arrive for the Christmas Day service at Sandringham on December 25, 2013 in King's Lynn, England. (Photo by Chris Jackson/Getty Images) 2013 also brought my favorite of Beatrice's boats. I know many of you disagree with this assessment, but I LOVE it. ## Christmas, 2013 ![Royal Family Christmas Pictures](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/12/459296901_10-1482362286.jpeg) KING'S LYNN, ENGLAND - DECEMBER 25: Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry leave the Christmas Day service at Sandringham on December 25, 2013 in King's Lynn, England. (Photo by Chris Jackson/Getty Images) 2013 was also a trial run for Harry's Beard, which he shaved shortly after this, before later -- of course -- making it a permanent fixture on his face. (YES I did just spend like an hour tracing The Life Cycle of Harry's Beard.) ## Christmas, 2014 ![Royal Family Christmas Pictures](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/12/christmas2014-1482362360.jpg) KING'S LYNN, ENGLAND - DECEMBER 25: Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge arrive for Christmas Day Service at Sandringham Church on December 25, 2014 in King's Lynn, England. (Photo by Chris Jackson/Getty Images) Wills has had this overcoat for many years (it's fetching on him), and Kate is gestating Charlotte here. She looks very cozy; I have always liked that scarf. ## Christmas 2014 ![Royal Family Christmas Pictures](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/12/willskatechristmas2014-1482362572.jpg) The Queen, accompanied by members of the royal family, attend the Christmas Day church service at the St. Mary Magdalene Church on the royal estate of Sandringham, Norfolk, UK on December 25, 2014\. (Photo by Chris Jackson/Getty Images) I am honor-bounded to make sure you revisit That Time The Queen Wore A Fur Hat. ## Christmas 2015 ![Royal Family Christmas Pictures](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/12/wills-kate-christmas-2015-1482362556.jpg) And this was last year, in which the gallant desire to hold an umbrella overruled any lustful urge to GRASP HANDS. ## Christmas 2015 ![Royal Family Christmas Pictures](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/12/wills-kate-christmas-2015-hat-1482362540.jpg) I just noticed that Kate's hat and coat don't exactly match. I HAVE RETROACTIVE NOTES. ## Christmas Week 2015 ![Royal Family Christmas Pictures](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/12/william-kate-harry-christmas-2015-1482362529.jpg) This was the Sunday after Christmas last year; 2015's holiday season required much churching, in the eyes of Her Majesty. ## Christmas 2015 ![Royal Family Christmas Pictures](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/12/qe2christmas2015-1482362479.jpg) I TOLD YOU I was on Fur Hat Patrol. ## Christmas, 2013 ![Royal Family Christmas Pictures](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/12/110780PCN_Match18-1482362221.jpeg) 110780, SANDRINGHAM, UNITED KINGDOM - Tuesday December 24, 2013\.
