Were we ever so young? This is the first Christmas after they got married, and we got no hand-holding this year -- although I'm sure everyone was alight with the joy of knowing that finally Kate was allowed to sleep at Sandringham like a real member of the family.

Wills and Kate spent Christmas 2012 with the Middletons -- Kate was freshly pregnant, and presumably spent the entire time barfing -- but they came back to the Royal Family Christmas Parade with A BANG in the form of my favorite Christmas coat and major holding of hands.

2013 was also a trial run for Harry's Beard, which he shaved shortly after this, before later -- of course -- making it a permanent fixture on his face. (YES I did just spend like an hour tracing The Life Cycle of Harry's Beard.)
