Obviously, we're all very excited that they're bringing the kids on this trip, if only because fat baby cheeks are a delight.

In case you forgot that William looks quite a lot like his mother.

SNUGGLES.

Whimsical shushing!

Victorious shrugging!

MAJOR FLIRTATIONS.

Drunkenly driving tractors pell-mell through vineyards!

Giant stuffed animals!

Livestock! (And my favorite dress of Kate's, which I love so much that I actually bought it for myself.)

GOURDS DISGUISED IN HUMAN FORM!

Babies doing magic!

Babies looking really freaking annoyed by the vagaries of travel. (I look forward to the MASSIVE WRANGLING that a photo opp with both kids is going to entail. I assume one or both of them will scream.)

Kisses!

Squirminess!

Waving at surfers!

Oh my god, you guys, remember when New Zealand just handed them puppies? Canada, I hope you're fully stocked on puppies right now.

We are fully going to see some sportiness on this trip -- Wills and Kate are good at sporty events, and clearly like them, and there's plenty on their calendar that could turn super sporty on them -- and I hope wacky sportsfaces come along with that.

I also, of course, am hopeful for shots of Great Natural Beauty that will make me want to visit various bits of Canada.

From Australia and New Zealand, let's transition to their first trip to Canada. Speaking of Canada, I ASSUME we will see a replay of this hat?

I assume PM Trudeau is going to ask Kate to whip up some apps for them when they arrive?

HOCKEY!

I am highly distraught that there will likely be no cowboy hats on this trip. I DEMAND tiny cowboy hats on George and Charlotte. Is that too much for an American blogger to DEMAND?

This was when Wills and Kate popped down to California after visiting Canada, and I forgot how much I liked this on Kate. Bracelet and all!

I actually ALSO liked these beige shoes. Where ARE THEY, Catherine? DRAG THEM OUT.

Just in case you needed a reminder of, like, one of the top ten best dresses Kate has ever worn.

"Wait. What was the assignment?"

I am NOT doing these trips in chronological order and I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY. Anyway, these next few slides date from their trip to the Far East and South Pacific, wherein Wills famously was stuck in a bush in Singapore as Kate looked on, concerned, but unmoving.

I just wanted to revisit this dress, which has not yet been reworn.

This one, on the other hand, popped up just recently in Bhutan, and will surely live to see another outing. Join me in pouring some out for her Corks.

I'd also really like to see a replay of THIS dress. Did someone lose one of the suitcases that Kate brought back from this trip?

At the time, I noted that this was totally the cover of a historical romance novel and I totally stand by that thought. These two are meeting in the cemetery to lovingly mourn their dead friend, who she also once -- wait, that's just Pearl Harbor, sorry.

In case you forgot that this trip involved a lot of quirky modes of transport.

In my imagination, Kate totally wears this around the house for family BBQs. (It also amuses me how DAZED Wills looks in the background here. That's the expression of a three year old who just woke up from an unexpectedly profound nap.)

I enjoy Kate's hair when left to its own devices.

There is a gif of this moment and, yes, I use it ALL THE TIME.

I wish I had a cocktail in a coconut right now, TBH.

And over to India! I told you I was doing this out of order! I just like to keep you on your toes. This is a very cute photo.

I mostly just wanted to revisit this dress, which is so pretty.

I worry that my life doesn't involve enough cutting foodstuffs with swords.

I feel certain this upcoming trip is going to involve adorable kids doing cute things.

Probably also some gazing.

Probably NOT any baby elephants, which is A SHAME.

Maybe some archery? I don't know Trudeau's life?

I hope Wills has been practicing his form.

I DEFINITELY demand sunglasses.

And piano pictures.
