Meghan in Jason Wu

This dress is pretty darn good. You can't see all the detailing on it from here, but we'll get to that. The lighting is flattering here, but the fit is still much better than the issues that bedeviled some of her other similarly cut dresses, both on this tour and in general. So hooray. And it truly is a delicious. The fabric looks thick and heavy, though; I wonder if she was hot. 

And here we have her in motion, and in more direct sunlight. I think the stitching might look a little severe in the bust, but it also might be mitigating any bunching. 

That's a nice look at the shoes and the dress and how they play together. Also, that chair looks very comfortable. Maybe they can buy one and have it shipped to the Cotswolds. I once stripped a hotel bed so that I could see where the mattress was from, to try and price it out. "I won't forget the name," I thought to myself. Guess what happened? Yeah.

The clutch, by the way, is her navy satin Dior, which we've seen before. Her makeup is endlessly fascinating to me, because in some shots you can barely see any -- the last one in this slideshow, for example, or two slides back -- and then in others the light seems to catch her bronzer/blush and it looks much more stark and strong.

The look on Meghan's face suggests to me that she got a huge kick out of hearing all about what went numb on Harry the last time he drank the kava.

This is a great shot of the stitching; I wish the intricacy rendered a bit better in the other shots, but that's certainly not HER fault. That's a lovely photo, though. Maybe someone should buy Harry a wallet for Christmas that has the old-school photo sleeves in it.
