Here's a good look at both of them. Harry is deep into chambray/medium and light blues at the moment, in a way that makes me wonder if Meghan once told him it brings out his eyes or something. ([He wore a VERY similar one on day 2](https://gofugyourself.com/photos/meghan-and-harry-in-oz-day-2/prince-harry-and-meghan-duchess-of-sussex-tour-of-australia-17-oct-2018-8?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).) I like the stripes on Meghan's, but imagine how cute it would be if it JUST had the band under her boobs and not across her hips. Practically speaking, like for non-Duchess women and non-pregnant women, I cannot IMAGINE very many of us wanting our stomachs framed by tight parallel lines like that. I wouldn't even take it off the hanger, for that reason; it seems to showcase an area of which many women are self-conscious. Designers often forget that real women -- no matter how much we wish we didn't -- have real insecurities. I personally prefer to wear stuff that makes me FORGET that I have those insecurities. Anyway, that has no relevance to Meghan. I'm just rambling.

Here, Meghan hasn't even taken off the wedges and she's still compelled to lift up the skirt. She had also just come down the stairs you see behind her, and has more ahead, which also required some wrangling. Her face says, "You're correct, Heather. I should have hemmed this mother."

The wacky attire is all the Fluoro Friday stuff, which they say has caused people to feel more confident and seen and willing to ask and discuss mental health in a way they aren't normally.

"Oh, I bought Harry a pair of those for his birthday! They're for his David Bowie costume, although he wears them all the time while we're watching *Riverdale*."

Shoe removal! I mostly got this so you can see that Meghan has a dark red (?) pedicure and that Harry's feet are also quite nice. I've decided she gets an in-home service to come do them both, and that he LOVES IT.

I also enjoy the lack of pretense here. It shouldn't be a big deal to toss shoes on the sand and head off, and Royals Are People Too, etc., but one thing I've read about Charles, for example, is that it makes Camilla nuts how used to be served he is -- not because he's a jerk, but because that's how he grew up. There was always a person there to take this, or make that, or swoop in behind him, so he knew no normalcy. Harry clearly does, and so does Meghan, and so it's noteworthy that there isn't any, "Hold my shoes, Nigel."

Further illustrating my point about the maxi-dress's skirt. It's not a deal-breaker, necessarily, but the poor woman can't hold EVERYTHING.

That fabric looks like curtains Pottery Barn would sell. That's not even an insult; it's just an observation. (Also, when Maria gets fabric to make herself clothes in *The Sound of Music*, I feel like one of them looked a lot like this. I can't find a clip online. Am I hallucinating? Edited: [Someone found it!](https://goo.gl/images/PN1s63?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) Stripey but not the same, but I can see why it triggered my brain.)

Harry's pants match the sand so well that I honestly thought for a second that *they* were covering his feet. (I am so glad they gave in to logic and kicked these off. Rothys are fine, but walking on the beach in ANY shoes is not that fun, compared with letting your toes wriggle free.)

This is called the Anti Bad Vibe Circle, and it's something they practice regularly so that people can speak comfortably and candidly and feel loved. I probably need one of those. (Honestly, Fug Nation is often that for me.)

And one for Harry's iPhone wallpaper.
