But seriously, imagine that with a bun and a tiara. YES. I like Meghan's hair down, but I ALSO like jewels. However, Harry, a note: It would be gentlemanly to swap places with your expectant wife so that she might use the banister for support if she needs it. Or, and this is a real question, are there specific rules about who has to stand on which side? Surely not, but what do I even know.

Maybe a tiara would've competed with the earrings, although it's possible an updo might've been a better play to showcase those, since they were on loan from Granny. I like the flowing hair and flowing cape working together, but the more I look at this, the more I wonder if a bun would actually have been the ideal play. Arguments to be made either way.

The bump is a-poppin'! How exciting for them. I imagine when you've had to be meticulously slim for your day job for so long -- and obviously she's naturally slender also -- it must be so trippy to be on this physical journey. I am a regular-size person, but I still remember being SO EXCITED not to care what my stomach was doing. It was fun. I also used it eventually as a table for my snack plates AND as a shelf for the TV remote control, but I guess the beans didn't like that because they came out early. Sorry, dudes. But you were a SUPER table.

She drank -- what else? -- Fiji Water during the toast.

I believe Harry is speaking during this moment, but I chose the picture because the flag behind her beautifully illustrates why she chose that dress. Also the earrings are winking at me.

The ceremony, known as the Veirqaraqaravi Vakavanua, embodies Fijian cultural identity and heritage, and will mirror in format that of the one attended by The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh in 1953. It will involve a number of traditional elements of Fijian culture, including the presentation of the Tabua, and a Kava ceremony. A traditional dance, known as the Meke, will also be performed by members of the Nakelo village. Here's another shot of the Zimmermann in motion. The skirt has a nice flow to it; the top still doesn't fit. Also, more eagle-eyed readers than I am noticed that Harry's shoes might be blue suede, and his tie matches, so... my old face thought they were black. Blue is better, actually, I think, with that suit. Although in this shot, his doesn't look like it fits that well either, or it's just rumpled. I've decided they found out when they landed that their hanging bags had fallen off the rail halfway through and they didn't have an accessible steamer.

They visited the president of Fiji, and I bet Meghan is thinking, "I wish I had known my dress would match his couch." Cue my usual concern that Team Sussex isn't checking to see how dresses look from the waist up, when seated. ALSO: Is the hat actually slightly khaki?

Meghan appears to have been given this awesome pearl necklace, too. What's the protocol there? I would wanted to put it on immediately.

I love these so much. That's one of those gifts that I bet she will sincerely pack and use on all their private trips to Botswana and The Maldives and wherever else warm they like to relax.

They were given, among other things, a roast pig. I hope they got to EAT it later. I would hate to waste a well-cooked pig.

Look at that GORGEOUS textile backdrop. Also, this is Harry preparing to drink the kava, which made from the root of the kava shrub and is apparently banned from import into the EU. I gather it's non-alcoholic but definitely narcotic, which is why Meghan didn't have any.

This BBC story has a couple photos of both Philip and Charles trying kava over the years... along with a lot of warnings about how dangerous it is to try it, but whatever, get your fancies while you can, Harry.

Kava apparently tastes bitter. This face reminds me of when Yaya ate the umeboshi on ANTM and spat it out, and Tyra was SO FURIOUS with her. I hope the Queen sends Harry that exact clip later in an email titled RESPEITO.

This is where Meghan may wish she still had social media, because WHAT an avatar.

And here they are at their hotel -- where the banquet was also held -- mirroring a balcony wave that the Queen and Philip made in the fifties. That is... I mean, these last two should BOTH go on the piano, shouldn't they?
