This entire situation looks like it was *highly* romantic. There is kissing, there's gazing, there is hand-holding, there's A BOAT RIDE, and there are more giant shiny tiaras here than I can even begin to handle. ([Order of Splendor -- much missed!! -- did a terrific rundown of them all.](https://orderofsplendor.blogspot.com/2012/02/wedding-wednesday-tiaras-at-victoria.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)) This wedding was also held on the same date as Victoria's parents' wedding, which is another romantic touch. Two rulers, married on the same day, has a lot of dramatic elan, as fun facts go.

Also, Prince Daniel's speech at the reception -- which was televised, I think? -- is EXTREMELY touching and, yes, I cried a little:

Skål, indeed. Please join us within for jewels, royal smooches, and also a Wiki Deep Dive that made some SHOCKING ALLEGATIONS.
