Our friend The Court Jeweller has the brooch pegged as the Queen Mary Richmond Brooch, which was Mary of Teck's, first worn on her honeymoon at Osborne House. Which was apparently a visit with Queen Victoria, and a more awkward honeymoon I cannot imagine.

That blue is gorgeous, but the sheer sleeves looked REALLY stark and weird inside the church. I feel like she derived inspiration from Meghan in her choice of bag, also. As for the headpiece...

... while it is not the elaborate toilet seat of yore, she may have gone too far in the other direction. This is really more of a cranial basket woven of several headbands.

She looks great, but it's a bit weird to me that the dress and the shoes and I think also the hat are three different shades of blue.

Sophie Wessex in Suzannah

This two-piece would, I think, have been better as one. I do like her hat, though. It's like she knew Camilla wasn't going full bird and so she decided to break off a piece of that action. But JUST a piece.

Lady Louise in Azzedine Alaia

She by and large looks adorable -- Alaia is  an unexpected and rather fun choice here -- but I would have let her leave the cardigan at home.

Aw. And her hat is really nifty.

Edward has a LOT going on here, frankly.

Fergie in Emma Louise Design

Say what you will about Fergie, but she marched in there with her head held high, and I think she looked great. It was a little awkward when she motored straight into the Quire and started chatting with people, and had to be escorted back out to her seat in the peanut gallery. But, you know. Fergie's gotta Ferg.

I did love her hair, though. She looked quite classy.

Mike and Zara

Zara gets a thousand passes for how pregnant she is, although she also looks nice. Mike Tindall's rebuilt nose keeps making me do a double-take. It was funny -- somewhere near the end of the ceremony, he grabbed Zara and rubbed her belly and gave her a cuddle, and she was kind of like, "This is sweet, dude, but I AM GONNA POP."

Camz in Anna Valentine

Oh, Camilla. She has looked wonderful at many events in the past, but this coat feels like the absolute minimum. The design isn't interesting, the tailoring doesn't seem precise... there just isn't much to recommend this, which really is odd. 

Well, there is the hat. It's like she won first prize at the fair for making an origami chip-and-dip platter.

Princess Anne

"Yes, I know the Internet thinks this looks like Hugh Hefner's robe. Let them. Let them say it all. It will make the killer think I've gone soft, and THAT'S when he'll make his mistake." (For the record, I think she looks great.)(And no, I'm not just saying that because she might uncover all my skeltons.)(And I'm not the killer.)(Sorry, Anne. Look elsewhere.)
