Just a casual little bash, you know.

Hardly ANYONE came out for the party.

This is how I enter all of my business meetings.

"Seriously? Salmon AGAIN? What's a queen got to do to get a slice of pizza up in here?"

Sophie looks great -- I love her hat. I also think Lady Louise looks terribly cute and totally normal in her white tights and cardigan. Although at her age, I hated white tights with a fiery passion due to the fact that they were always falling down. Maybe you don't have that problem with you are a princess (why is she a LADY and not a PRINCESS when Beatrice and Eugenie are princesses? I know one of you will know).

Speaking of....those hats are cute. I like Eugenie's dress, although it's maybe a little too shiny? Beatrice seems to be wearing the opposite of this coat of Camilla's. Ultimately, I'm not sure that this is the best they've ever looked.

I feel like Cameron is thinking, "don't look too closely at their hats. DON'T LOOK TOO CLOSELY AT THEIR HATS." Both of them look a bit as though they're wearing mysterious sea creatures pinned to their head.

I am mostly including Princess Michael of Kent -- who looks both lovely and like she just fell out of a Judith Krantz adaptation -- in the hopes that the Royal Watchers in our readership will explain to me what her deal is. From what I understand, she loves herself a photo op. I also wanted to share with you her full name: Marie-Christine Anne Agnes Hedwig Ida von Reibnitz. And also to tell you that her Wikipedia page is INSANE. I learned that "through her mother, the Princess is a descendant of Diane de Poitiers (mistress of Henry II of France), and Catherine de' Medici... Her father was a Nazi party member." So...don't cross her, is what I took from that. She also: meet her first husband at a boar hunt (as one does), was married to him for seven years, and then got that marriage ANNULLED and married her current husband ONE MONTH AFTER THAT ESCANDALO! She also sounds somewhat terrible, in general.

Camilla and Kate seem to get along well -- seriously, every time we saw a shot of them during the Flotilla, they were laughing -- and I am beginning to wonder if maybe Kate is giving Camilla some fashion advice. This is neutral, but also kind of jazzy, which means Camilla has looked decent several days in a row.

Lord Freddie here is Princess Michael's son (39th in line to the throne, so: rich enough to have fun, out of it enough to get away with it), and he and his wife look totally nice, but really I just wanted to give a shout-out to the dude lurking behind him. Well Photobombed, my friend. Well Photobombed.

Zara looks kind of great. I enjoy that the positioning of this photo makes it look like Mike Tindall is wearing a tremendous mass of red feathers on top of his bald head. Well Photobombed Red Feathers. Well Photobombed.

They clearly can't stand one another.

These two are also obviously totally sick of each other. For what it's worth, I quite like this dress on Kate (it is McQueen once again). The close-up with Harry really sold it; the lace looks delicate and beautiful rather than mumsy. I generally hate this color, but I think this is really pretty. It also makes me crave a tiramisu.

I love some good hats on people in carriages.

I thought you might want to see the back of Kate's -- oh, who am I kidding? I was worried you weren't getting enough Prince Harry out of this whole thing. I've decided he's secretly in love with Kate.

"Are we STILL doing this? All right. I really have turned it out for this party, haven't I? We do our best."

Harry never went through a day without pointing. But this time, he WAS pointing at something...

...A flyover. I, like Prince Harry, LOVE a flyover. Obviously, this means we are meant to be. You ARE going to see the headline, "PRINCE HARRY TO MARRY ELDERLY CRANKY AMERICAN" after all!

Camilla can't tip her head back to watch the flyover, or her hat will fall off. I am 100% sure this is true.

Okay. I just love him. People SHOULD be that giddy about a flyover. Flyovers are AWESOME. When I bring him to football games -- AMERICAN ONES -- the promise of the flyover will surely be a potent lure.

Great wisdom from traffic signs. Hope you had a fun long weekend, dear British readership. Can't wait for the Olympics!
