I was truly, truly concerned about tonight's ensemble when I realized it was a "cocktail attire" outing -- a dress code that clearly strikes horror deep into Kate's sporty heart. HOWEVER! This is pretty good, right? It's like...a sort of sexy, sort of sporty, sort of 70s look. I dig the zipper.

I don't know if I've ever said this about Kate before: I LOVE those shoes. The world has truly turned upside down. Cute, colorful, open-toed shoes; a sexy(ish) cocktail frock; a glam, shiny clutch. PROGRESS IN OUR TIME!
