I do not think it's a coincidence that Kate wore a dress that could not humanly possibly fall prey to a gust of DEMON WIND.

This tour as a whole was slightly more fashion-forward than usual, which was a welcome surprise. And...red shoes!

This tour also bought us a LOT of casual looks, which meant Kate got to whip out these boots, which she's had for 12 years. That's a good buy.

In which the Cambridges are really feeling the Sweaters Over Button Downs look.

I still can't believe she didn't wear beige shoes with this.

This tour was also super colorful. I personally really liked this green D&G.

This coat gets a lot of work from Kate.

Heather and I were discussing this, and it seems like Carolina Herrera is a GREAT fit for Kate.

I LOVE this wine-cardigan-as-coat.

This cream frock seemed like it was chosen as a good backdrop for the kids at this party.

Very preppy and polished.

Kate wore a lot of red on this trip -- which makes sense, as it's very Canadian, AND she looks good in it.

PATTERNED SHOES!

I just realized -- looking at this photo and thinking, "this seems like the sort of jacket you WOULD wear to pilot a ship" -- that we saw zero Breton stripes on this trip. Is this the trade the universe demanded for patterned shoes?!

This is a lovely coat.
