"No, see, I think Thomas has taken the Gutenberg Bible and he's holding onto it until he needs to blackmail Lord Grantham about it. But don't get me started on Lady Edith and that pig farmer. It's the worst idea. Oh, is this the rainforest? It's quite green."
"I don't know how Kate does this in heels all the time."
I hope when he comes back, they let him come visit his tree. I actually hope that everyone who plants a tree on one of these things gets tree updates on the regular. Pictures of the trees growing every six months, for example.
It's not a Prince Harry State Trip if he doesn't get to go kick a ball around with some children, but this looks more like they're about to burst into a choreographed dance routine. Wait. Can we make that happen?
"I understand why she likes to recycle her clothes, Harry. I'm just saying, I think the public would love to see a new dress at the next informal event. I'm thinking a print, maybe? Please pass along my thoughts."
This is so wistful. It's so, "ah, I remember when I TOO was a guitar in a glass case, longing to be taken out and strummed."
Via Getty: "Prince Harry greets a police officer as he visits the Open Arms Project, which helps reduce crime and drug abuse in the Cracolandia area outside Sao Paulo." From what I could tell, this portion of the trip was probably pretty intense; many, many people came out and it's an extraordinarily depressed part of Sao Paulo with a high percentage of crack addicts (I guess crack is extremely cheap there and a very serious issue; the article to which I linked in the opener of the post is quite sobering). Good on you, Harry, for not just going to World Cup games and drinking with models.
I just thought this was a great photo. As usual, the photographers who've been sent out on this tour have been doing really good work. It must be professionally enjoyable for them to get out in new surroundings. Sure, half the time it's still tree-planting, but it's tree-planting in the AMAZON.
