I'm sure this isn't surreal for him, because it's happened to him his entire life, but I can't help but think -- and obviously, this is in The Royal We a bit, although...well, no spoilers -- how surreal it would be to arrive somewhere, and find all these people waiting for you. I think it would be very touching and humbling. You wouldn't want to disappoint people. (Or it would turn you into a raging egomaniac.)

Informative Caption was NOT helpful here, but I believe Harry is placing a fern on the Tomb of the Unknown Solider in Wellington. Ah, I remember the glories of New Zealand well, from Wills and Kate's trip last April. (Relive it all here! Fondly I remember those nights I stayed up late waiting for photos to come in from across the world! I actually got a lot of work done on the book whilst on Wills&Kate Duty so, thanks guys, for helping us make that deadline. In fact, the post wherein Kate wore her dress with the fern motif on it was the one where I accidentally fell asleep waiting for photos. I perversely very much enjoyed everything about that.)

"I hope I wore the right blue suit. Maybe I should have worn the OTHER blue suit."

I am sure it did not escape Prince Ginger's notice that this particular traditional Maori greeting was from a totally gorgeous woman.

I'm sure that's a huge relief.

YES. Bring a dog for him to meet. BRILLIANT. This girl's a smart cookie.

Day one of this trip and it already had everything: Boy Scouts! (Do you call them "Boy Scouts" in New Zealand?) Puppies! Amusing Signs! Blue Suits! Traditional Greetings from Hot People!

I assume that is a traditional cape for visiting dignitaries and not just a new and exciting fashion choice on his part (although I support that, too). Regardless: Peach Blazer there in the middle, WE ARE ALL YOU. YOU ARE US.

This is an excellent Informative Caption: "Prince Harry is welcomed by a 100 year old Tuatara lizard called Henry after landing in Invercargill on his way to Stewart Island as part of his first visit to New Zealand." I love that he and this creature share a name. LET HIM KEEP IT, YOU GUYS. George would LOVE IT! Kate won't mind if Harry brings over a giant lizard on a leash for dinner every now and then, right?

"Hello. I'm just walking through beautiful, beautiful New Zealand looking thoughtful and handsome. LADIES OF THE WORLD PLEASE JOIN ME."

I feel like, Harry WOULD find two adorable children lurking near a bush and strike up a conversation with them. This is his area of strength.

And then they made him shuck oysters because obviously when Prince Harry is in town, definitely have him serve aphrodisiacs.

Yeah, this seems about right. (I saw a photo on Twitter wherein Harry was helping these kids make the crowns in arts and crafts, which was excellent on several levels.)

"Hey, look, guys! It's Gran!"

I learned from the Kensington Palace Instagram that this is a bike you pedal for electricity, and it's part of the Gap Filler project in Christchurch following their devastating earthquake, which is a very interesting project.

I'm sure these two have much to discuss.

SOMEONE HAVE A BABY WITH THIS MAN.

"Someone."

You guys, he's even passing out cupcakes. CUPCAKES.

INDEED.
