"EXCUSE ME, KIND SIR, BUT I BELIEVE THIS IS A PRIVATE SERVICE." George, you adorably expressive little muffin, I just want to chase you around until I'm totally exhausted and then let the nanny take you off to force you to nap whilst I sprawl on a deck chair with a G&T.

I ALWAYS love the Traditional Hand-Holding On The Way to The Sandringham Church and I don't even care whose hand is being held. But this one is awfully cute. George's constant perplexed expression when faced by the enthusiastic greetings of total strangers never fails to amuse me.
Kate's hat is Jane Taylor Millinery and I actually quite like it. In fact, I like this whole thing (other than the snoozy shoes, but that's given. ONE DAY I shall magick you into some wacky footwear, Kate. This I swear). It's very simple, but the neckline is good and it's smart to concentrate all your Outfit Interest upstairs when you're behind a vintage pram most of the day.

I pulled this photo ostensibly to show you the back of Kate's outfit (pockets!), but mostly because it's cute.

Plus, I love the updo. Charlotte looks totes underwhelming, obviously, and not at all like a Gloriously Dramatic Royal Baby About to Be Dunked into A Font They Had to Haul Up from The Tower.

Look at that face! She's a beauty. I do think she is going to end up looking like Kate.

"WHAT IS SHE DOING IN THERE? CAN WE PLEASE GO HOME NOW, MUMMY? HELLLLLLLO, CHARLOTTE, DO YOU WANT TO GO HOME NOW? LET'S GO HOME NOW, CHARLOTTE."

"YES, YES, GRANNY, HELLO, NICE TO SEE YOU. I HAVE THINGS TO DO NOW, I REALLY CAN'T DITHER AND CHAT." (I appreciate Nanny coming in Full Mary Poppins gear to this shindig as well.)

"GRANNY GRANNY GRANNY GRANNY DO YOU HAVE ANY SNACKS IN THAT HANDBAG MAYBE? THANK YOU VERY MUCH."

I appreciate Her Majesty's sense of occasion in wearing pink. I also appreciate His Royal Highness's desire to RUN AROUND THE GARDEN PLEASE THANK YOU WHY AREN'T YOU LETTING GO OF MY HAND, DADDY?
All things considered, Georgie held up very well (there was a pic of Wills kneeling down to chat with him where he seemed to be considering a meltdown [George, not William], as nearly 2 year olds often do, but on the whole, what a feisty delight this kid is).

I do look forward to the uproar about how that trollop Camilla brazenly flouted dress weights because she's keeping Chaz entranced via sexual sorcery. AND AT A RELIGIOUS CEREMONY!!!!! ESCANDELO!!!!!!!

"PLEASE WON'T SOMEONE CARRY ME NOW? I'M TERRIBLY TIRED FROM BEHAVING. THANK YOU AND GOOD DAY."

Mischief managed.
