Prince William and Prince Harry at Beaufort Polo Club

If it's a Sunday in June, it must be time for polo. (Or, if you're me, if it's a Sunday in June, it must be time for you to look at pictures of people playing polo.)

Prince Harry Visits Brazil - Day 1

And then Harry's off to Brazil and Chile for a brief tour and if no one pulled him aside and hissed, "AND FOR GOD'S SAKE, HARRY, BE DISCREET" before he left, then I am disappointed in everyone. Anyway, per our photo service, here: "Prince Harry shares a joke with a patient from the Rede Sarah Hospital for Nerological Rehabilitation injuries as he takes part in a canoe therapy session on Lake Paranoa." That is a very cool event; also, you know how much I love a thumbs up.

Additionally, I misread that as "Lake Paranoia" and thought, "I too have kayaked on Lake Paranoia, friends." This event also seemed to involve nuns, and yet there were no pictures of Harry WITH the nuns, which is a shame because I have a great deal of jokes for that one.

I believe this is also at the rehab center, and I resent those two women for not pushing him in the pool.

Cameroon v Brazil Game

One does not schedule a trip to Brazil whilst the World Cup is afoot in Brazil without going to see some soccer/football. (Of which I have watched ALMOST ALL this World Cup. The thrill of victory! The agony of a last second draw! The muscular thighs! Queen Maxima! [I'm sorry, England.] It's been quite fun. Yesterday, I went over to see Heather's kids and we had a very vigorous match which I played in my wedges. I AM JUST LIKE KATE YOU GUYS.)

Note the woman below with her cell phone; there were a WHOLE swath of photos from the polo event at the head of this sideshow that just had people sticking their phones in his face, which seemed UNDIGNIFIED at a POLO EVENT. Obviously, it's been like that his entire life, but man. It seems weird to me.)

And here is where Harry and Olympic swimmer Cesar Cielo decide they're going out after this and playing wingman for the other and Brazil had better just BATTEN DOWN THE HATCHES. (Obligatory link to our Olympian Abs post. It's totally on topic, you guys.)

They are wise to always send Harry out to do sports with children. He is very natural seeming with them. (The royals reporters that I follow have indicated that he is the most relaxed-seeming of all of them in public in general; I imagine this is an outgrowth of being The Spare. Less heavy is the head that's never going to wear the Crown.)

Exhibit B. From what I understand, that is more goaltenders than one is generally allowed.

"THIS GUY." I wish they'd made him put on a judo kit and really get in there, personally.

"Judo does involve a basketball, doesn't it? It doesn't? GODDAMNIT WILLS."

"This is called a book, sir."

(It's -- in the interest of accuracy -- a copy of the first rules of soccer/football.)

Costa Rica v England Game

And then he borrowed his brother's blue tie and suit and went off to watch England and Costa Rica play to a nil-nil draw. That must have felt...a bit deflating. Time for a caipirinha to boost one's spirits. BE DISCREET.

Nothing is more amusing to me than photos of people watching sporting events (take, for example, his sister-in-law at the Olympics). This is clearly "OH LOOK AT THAT COME ON YOU GUYS."

And EVERY sports fan in the world has felt like this.

Royally Played: The Recent Shenanigans of Prince Harry
Let's check in with Ye Olde Ginger Prince. His week, thus far, began with polo and has gone on to encompass kayaking, martial arts, basketball, half-naked Olympic swimmers, books-under-glass, pool noodles, and a disappointing World Cup showing for England. [Photos: Splash, Getty, PA Wire]
