Kate is flat-out obsessed with a lace dress. She cannot stop buying them. HAVING SAID THAT: I do like this one. It's great for your second, garden wedding. Er, not that she's going to need it for that purpose. I ASSUME. I don't even mind the shoes with it. THIS TIME.

I also love this hat. This whole thing feels vaguely 70s, in a way that is pleasant to me, rather than dated.

Wills looks like he's telling some kind of complicated story here about how they had to ride in this carriage all the way down the street and they're also probably going to drive it home, while they've got it.

"No, sweetknees, I promise you. The Pimms station is over there. I saw it."

I know one of our Fug Nationals got a great picture of Kate in the carriage today -- I hope it didn't rain on her too much! Let us know if you're in this photo!

There is a big scene set at Royal Ascot in The Royal We, and I remember spending a LOT of time two years ago staring at far off photos of these nametags so we could accurately describe them. THIS SHOT WOULD HAVE BEEN USEFUL THEN, GETTY IMAGES.

Whatever is happening here, Wills thinks it's funny. I assume Kate is trash-talking someone over their respective picks for the ponies.

I downloaded a LOT of angles of this hat. Don't ever say I never did anything for you, hat lovers of the world.

Here, Informative Caption tells me, Wills and Kate are presenting the "Duke of Cambridge Stakes winners trophy to owner Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum." Well, it seems appropriate they would be presenting that particular one, yes?

(a) Anne loves that coat; she wears it ALL THE TIME, and (b) I assume her latest tale of crime-fighting genius is a comic one.

Hey, look who's here! It's Crown Princess Mary, and this photo is a hoot. It's a Mutual Hat Admiration Society.

She looks mostly great -- that dress is gorgeous, and her shoes are fantastic. The hat is debatable, as far as I am concerned. Does it seem like the rose is jammed in there too tightly? (EVERYONE is wearing giant flowers attached to her head this week!)

"Have you purchased any new beige shoes lately?"
"Oh, actually, yes! Let me tell you all about them."

I was never going to deprive you of Crown Prince Frederik.

Nor of another look at Sophie's wacky lid. This color is fantastic on her, though.

For once, it is these two who look as if they've accidentally left the cotton candy maker running at home.

How nice of the flowers to coordinate themselves with Her Majesty.
