His head looks so much better with his hair much shorter (it tends to get fluffy on the sides and then he looks like someone's old kindly sociology professor). Personally, I think he could go EVEN SHORTER, but this is an excellent start and way more modern. Which is obviously what Kate is thinking right here.

Oooh, it's time for our first Informative Caption of the year! I hope I remember how to do this. AHEM: "Queen Elizabeth II, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge attend a wreath laying ceremony to mark the 100th anniversary of the final withdrawal from the Gallipoli Peninsula at the War Memorial Cross, Sandringham."

They also invited, apparently, a HUGE variety of people in interesting hats.

## The Middletons

The Middletons, I have to say, all look quite sharp. (Pa Middleton also attended -- they didn't leave him home to babysit or something, never fear.) I do like to think that Carole showed up for breakfast in this suit and she and Kate had a big argument over who was to change -- "I'M your mother." "I'M a duchess!" "And who is to thank for THAT?" "Well, it's MY birthday!" "AND WHO IS TO THANK FOR THAT???" -- and eventually just decided to wear the same silhouette, damn the haters.

[Royally Played: Wills Cuts His HairFINALLY Wills goes for the close crop -- we've only been yapping about this FOR AGES -- and it looks so much better. In other news, Kate's re-wearing that Michael Kors tweed she wore over Christmas (she is currently really into tweed, you guys), and Pippa Middleton is sporting a fur turban, which I clearly love. I assume all the Middletons came along to church this Sunday because they're all over at Anmer Hall for Kate's birthday, which was yesterday.
