Informative Caption tells me, "[all these people] arrive for a children's party for military families during the Royal Tour of Canada," and George sincerely IS thinking, "EXCUSE ME WHO ARE ALL OF THESE PEOPLE. I DO NOT KNOW THAT I WANT TO DO THIS, THANK YOU VERY MUCH."

I am constitutionally incapable of resisting snuggly photos of kids and their dads. Also, Charlotte really REALLY really loves balloons and she is getting her fill of them today. BALLOONS EVERYWHERE, BALLOONS FOR EVERYONE.

"DADDY, I ALSO LOVE YOU. DADDY, REMEMBER ME AND HOW CUTE I AM? DADDY I ALSO WANT YOU TO CARRY ME. ALL THE TIME IMMEDIATELY RIGHT NOW PLEASE. THANK YOU VERY MUCH."

Kate's dress is See By Chloe and it's...you know, it's fine? She's not really the centerpiece of this event, after all.

It took me a stupidly long time to realize that the slip we're seeing here is OBVIOUSLY THE SAME ONE WE SEE AT THE TOP OF THIS DRESS THROUGH THE LACE. I really was like, "what an interesting underskirt! For modesty!" Which, yes, but also...it's attached to the part that means she's not topless. I don't know why I leapt to "that's an old retro undergarment, how FASCINATING," and not, "this dress is lined in full."

If Charlotte loves balloons, George is deeply enamored of bubbles right now. Look at the joy on this child's sweet face. May we all feel this bliss at some point in the coming days.

This party wisely provided bubbles in all formats. George looks like a little tiny adorable Christopher Robin here.

DIY bubbles are a vital part of any young person's life.

As is, frankly, cheekily sitting on a patient and long-suffering dog.

"I'm tired of this cardigan. And I'm not going to wear it anymore." (Fun fact: this is the cardigan that George wore to meet her in hospital the day she was born.)
