My number one note here on Kate's dress is that it needs a belt, as far as I am concerned. It needs a belt so bad. I learned on What Kate Wore that Kate Spade doesn't show it with a belt, either, but I feel that BOTH Kates are wrong in this.

I like the pattern -- please, allow us to continue to praise the pattern with this one! -- and I always enjoy it when Kate dresses like your one sweet cousin who's really prim but also has incredibly expensive taste -- your cousin Charlotte York MacDougal Goldenblatt, if you will -- but BELT IT. Not to sound like the Gap ladies, but just CINCH IT.

Everything appears appropriately cinched and belted here.

I always just like to see a picture of the crowd at these things, and could not resist the scenic backdrop on this one.

I like the pleating in the skirt here, and I also love this child, obviously.

While we're on the topic of adorable children: SOMEONE has to closely examine the beard!

Kate's hair is extra Pantene Commercial Ready today. If she and William ever decide to chuck it all and become private citizens, she can support them in the manner to which they've become accustomed (kinda) by shilling hair products. I'd buy whatever.

Allow us to finally turn to Informative Caption: "The Duchess of Cambridge talks to guests at a reception of the mental health charity Heads Together on World Mental Health Day. This year's theme...focuses on the importance of psychological and mental health first aid for all. The Royals spoke at a reception with the charities that are a part of the Heads Together campaign. They met with people who have received help from a relative, colleague or friend in crucial moments in their lives and the person who provided that support." Which is a very important and worthy event.

The event was, in part, at the London Eye, and I'm assuming that's what the men are looking at here. I imagine, if you are either one of them, you don't get to go pop on tourist attractions very often, so that was probably fun. Also: BOTH of them are wearing good Man Shoes. So much suede cleaner kicking around the cupboards at Kensington Palace at the moment, it seems.

"Look, Kate! There's our house!"
