1) I think this is fantastic. It is so GIANT and FLOWERY and her dress is so simple and chic. It's insane in a way that is DELIGHTFUL.

2) I'm scared. Isn't this what people wore to Royal Ascot when the Plague was in town, to keep the germs away from their orifices? I read that book, and it ends in pustules.

3) A stiff breeze, and I like to imagine this twirls around like a lawn ornament.

4) I love this, I love her, and I wish she were my sassy neighbor, prone to doling out tea and romantic advice whilst deadheading her hydrangea plants, to which she has AN UNNATURAL ATTACHMENT.

5) J'adore this. It's like the love child of a bathing cap and a giant antennae designed to contact our alien masters.

6) At least she doesn't shy from modeling her own wares.

7) I legit love this. I think it's brilliant and ironic and understated (if anything with birds attacking your head CAN BE understated) and deeply cool, and I want HER to be my neighbor from whom I can borrow weird ass spices and and talk about her boyfriend, who is both deeply talented and a bizarre asshole who rolls his own cigarettes.

8) This is Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, the Princess of Jordan, who graduated with honors from Oxford, making her both a smarty-pants AND a girl who doesn't feel the need to splash out all cray cray with her hat.

9)....unlike some other ladies. I love how she is all, "this hat is hilarious, but I can barely see. When this picture is done, can you point me in the direction of the grandstand? Thanks."

10) Beatrice and Eugenie continue to live down their Royal Wedding Hats of Delight. Bea looks very neutral -- and pretty -- whilst Eugenie continues to fight the power in that lace. Keep it up, girls. You never fail to entertain.

11) I love this on Bea. Don't you think she wakes up most mornings and thanks God she was born a princess in this century and not the 1600s, where she'd already have been married off to someone terrible in order to strengthen a political alliance? I would.

12) Camilla wore this EXACT SAME OUTFIT, HAT AND ALL, to the Royal Wedding! I feel like she's all, "everyone loves Kate for repeating HER outfits! NOW WE CAN ALL ACT LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE!"

13) Hey, look! Liz Hurley is still alive!

14) God Save the Queen, in mint green.

15) God EXTRA save the Queen in this, which is a divine color on her Majesty. She has never looked more spry, I have to say, and she comes from a line of VERY long-lived ladies, so I hope she continues to coordinate in good health for many a year.

16) The graphic qualities of this are quite divine. Bonus points for keeping the rest of the look austere, so it's all about the hat.

17) And then there's the girl with the bird on her head.

18) And THEN there's the girl with the THIS on her head.

19) And then, finally, and most majestically, THERE IS THE HORSE WEARING A HAT. Or, as we call it here at GFY HQ: THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED.
