Prince Harry

"Kate and Wills are off throwing darts at people in Bhutan and what am I doing? JUST SITTING HERE IN A FANCY CATHEDRAL ALL BORED. Sigh."

Prince Harry

Okay, in fairness, this is "a service of commemoration for victims of the 2015 terrorist attacks in Tunisia." So, still important and valuable, Harry.

Prince Harry

"Hotly buttoning and unbuttoning my blazer is just going to have to do. Sure, it's not archery in Bhutan or whatever, but it's something. It's something I'm good at."

Prince Harry

I love this beam of light. Can't you hear the angels singing?

Princess Beatrice and Dave Clark

These two are in Los Angeles. I should have been on higher alert! Last week, one of you noted that you think you saw Fergie at your yoga class in Santa Monica. I have to go to Santa Monica in like an hour to get a shot! WHAT IF FERGIE IS LURKING OUTSIDE MY DOCTOR'S? Okay, in fairness, that is more unlikely. Still, I'll report back.

Felipe and Letizia

This might be one of my favorite of Letizia's many blazers.

Queen Letizia

And I really appreciate that this photographer clearly thought, "this hair is REALLY WORKING. Let's get a good shot of it, in case anyone needs to take it to her hair stylist."

Queen Letizia

Hey! Turns out I still don't like these pants.

Queen Mathilde

In my mind, Queen Mathilde sent a giddy pic of these shoes to Kate when she bought them.

King Willem-Alexander And Queen Maxima Visit Bavaria

And these two are on a state visit to "Bavaria," and I think I say this every time someone goes to "Bavaria," but for a long time I thought Bavaria was...like, fictional? Or, not fictional but...an Olde Timey Place that no longer exists in our modern world? In the sense that, for much longer than was appropriate, I didn't realize people were really saying things like, "we're off to Bavaria" any more than we're saying, "I'm planning a trip to Mesopotamia!" (It's actually, of course, "a state in southeastern Germany bordering Liechtenstein, Austria and the Czech Republic," per my disappointed geography teacher, Wikipedia. I AM SORRY BAVARIA. You have AMAZING castles!)

King Willem-Alexander And Queen Maxima Visit Bavaria

I LOVE this coat.

King Willem-Alexander And Queen Maxima Visit Bavaria

I feel like this dress, while fine, is a Designer Imposter of this amazing frock.

Has any women EVER looked more saucily delighted to be standing next to a cheese plate?

King Willem-Alexander And Queen Maxima Visit Bavaria

Oh my god. You two are the cutest. NEVER CHANGE.

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto and Angelica Rivera

We get some coverage of CPS M and F this week, to my pleasure! I love Mary's coat.

Crown Princess Mary

This one is kind of a J Crew Special, which is fine in general -- who amongst us doesn't own one? -- but a wee bit of a snoozle, generally.

Crown Princess Mary

What we didn't know is that it's actually PATTERNS WEEK amongst the Royal Ladies of the world.

CPM and CPF

Can I just confess that it took me ten minutes to figure out that this IS definitely Mary? I thought it was, and then I convinced myself that it's Princess Marie (Crown Prince Frederik's sister-in-law, whose NAME is even similar).

Prince Joachim and Princess Marie

But this is Marie. Ladies, please! At least wear different colors next time!

Royals Round-Up, April 15th, 2016
SO MUCH TO COVER THIS WEEK! First of all, Kate and Will have been in India and Bhutan, and it's been AMAZING. In case you missed any of it, get ready: Day One brought cricket and floaty boho frocks and an AMAZING Jenny Packham gown. Day Two gave us boob flaps and a glorious Temperley two-piece. Day Three featured MORE floaty patterned gowns! Day Four had ELEPHANTS! Day Five moved to Bhutan and archery and capes! And, earlier today, there was both outdoorsy canoodling AND another great dress. Today's slideshow brings us Prince Harry -- all SAD and ALONE back at home -- as well as Queen Maxima in FULL CHARM MODE. She has never been more adorable. And elsewhere on the internets: -- Thanks to the internet, indeed, Wills and Kate met with one of their biggest fans.
