"Don't get me STARTED on the chandelier."

Zara and Mike popped out to the Grand National and Zara looks quite smart, don't you think?

"WHEE I'M SO HAPPY HE'S SO HANDSOME! WHY ISN'T LIFE ALWAYS LIKE THIS?!"

Let's turn to Informative Caption. This is "a Gala Dinner at Christiansborg Palace on the eve of The 75th Birthday of Queen Margrethe of Denmark," and royals CAME OUT. Maxima, of course, looks MAXIMAL in so much fringe.

I feel like Mathilde's face just says, "holy shit you guys my knee hurts why didn't I just let Phil wheel me in??? Also, is this too much pink?"

I appreciate that this is a Full Tiara Event.

This was the next day, after lunch festivities for Queen Margrethe's b-day. I am not sure if I'd wear a broach if I knew I'd ALSO be wearing some kind of...ceremonial pin item. But I am not invited to these things.

I believe this is a new tiara on Letizia -- I'm linking to a piece about the jewels on this event below -- and I LOVE this dress on her.

This is not particularly riveting BUT I love this cut on her and everyone needs a good LBD.

ALL of Queen M's pictures from her birthday delight me. She is having THE BEST birthday...

"Hi Denmark! IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!" (I also love her red lip.)

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!" I think all of us, when we reach 75, should get to go out on a balcony and flings our arms about with joy. I LOVE this.

Queen Silvia here just made me think, "Why don't I have a purple cape???" It's a salient question. Additionally, did you know the following bit of trivia, per the Collection of Delicious Royal Tidbits that is Wikipedia? "In celebration of the forthcoming wedding of the King and the soon-to-be-Queen, Silvia, the internationally famous pop group ABBA performed the song Dancing Queen on Swedish television the night before the ceremony, although the song was not actually written for Queen Silvia." TECHNICALITIES.

I assume these two planned their matching outfits the night before.

M-M's hair has NEVER looked better than it does her. (Also, she is totally thinking, "he is so dreamy.")

You may be surprised to hear this, but I actually LOVE this on CMP. It's so slinky and METALLIC.

I even prefer it to this one, although this tiara is delightful.

And you all know I LOVE this coat.

Princess Josephine continues to be a scream. PLEASE DON'T PITCH YOURSELF OFF THE BALCONY, JO.
