This week was the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), so EVERYONE is in town to have meetings and hang out and come over to Harry and slap him on the back and jovially congratulate him on his forthcoming nuptuals, which is FOR SURE what is happening here, I think. From what I read from royal reporters on Twitter, this whole event was very festive and also a little bittersweet, because basically it's the last time Her Majesty will be at one of these meetings in person -- it isn't coming back to the UK for a long time, and she doesn't really travel out of the country anymore. Although, honestly, who knows? Her mother lived to be 101.

This photo also makes me laugh. She is SO charmed by him. Like, there is nearly a "tee hee" coming out of this actual photo.

"I'm bejeweled and having THE BEST TIME!" Informative Caption says, "Queen Elizabeth II greets guests in the Blue Drawing Room at Buckingham Palace in London as she hosts a dinner during the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting." I say, THE QUEEN LOOKS DELIGHTFUL. She looks very VERY cheery this entire week. She must be happy that Phil is home with his new hip, and of course there are many happy events on dock for her family in the next month alone. AND her birthday is tomorrow. I think she's also relieved that no one at this event was like, "OH ALSO we don't want Charles to take over for you," as that would have been distressing for her. ([It was a discussion on the docket but, as I understand it, it would have been SHOCKING had they not gone for it](https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2018/apr/20/prince-charles-next-head-commonwealth-queen?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).)

I sincerely do not think Her Majesty loves anyone as much as she loves Justin Trudeau at the moment. She really gives him the Full Twinkle.

This is "the formal opening of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in the ballroom at Buckingham Palace," and it's a nice new suit for Her Majesty. She's very patterned this April.

This is "the unveiling of a panel marking the walkway in Buckingham Palace gardens, London, in relation to the Commonwealth Walkway project," but I honestly thought they'd just dragged her out there to look at a particularly interesting drain.

Mandatory Credit: Photo by REX/Shutterstock (9633857j) Prime Minister Theresa May and Prince Harry attend a Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting Youth Forum in London Commonwealth Heads of Government Youth Forum, London, UK - 16 Apr 2018

As I said, this is a big work week for the Brits with all the Commonwealth Heads in town -- Harry and Meghan are also going to some do tomorrow, to stay tuned. Here, I feel like Harry is saying, "eeeee, is it awkward I didn't invite her to the wedding??!?!?"

"And this is called A PAINTING, Your Royal Highness." All joking aside, I would be really good at this part of the job, were I a duchess. I am VERY interested in things, so it would be extremely easy for me to be delighted by whatever someone brought me as a hostess gift.

## Wills and Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni

This is also an interesting snap: LOOK AT ALL THE STUFF IN THIS ROOM, and also the painting in the left corner of the picture makes it seem like that dude is ALSO sitting in on this meeting.

## Chaz and Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahid Khaqan

Speaking of a room with a lot of stuff in it!! As much as I would be a good duchess because I love looking at things, I would be a bad prime minister at these occasions, because I would be like, "yeah, hi, great to see you, love the pocket square WHAT IS THIS CLOCK?!"

## Cams and Vijay Krishnarayan, Director-General of the Commonwealth Foundation

This is a VERY chic and sleek look on Camilla.

## Cams and Jude Kelly, the founder of "WOW", Women of The World,

This is ALSO very snazzy. I feel like Camilla has recently rehauled her wardrobe a bit. Here she, per Informative Caption, has "arrived to attend a round table discussion and to give a speech at the closing session of the Women's Forum for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting." Her speech was about [an issue close to her heart, domestic violence](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/04/18/duchess-cornwall-hails-archers-helping-lift-shroud-silence-domestic/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).

Princess Eugenie also chipped in this week -- I believe this was the same event that Harry and Meghan attended on Wednesday. As far as I can tell, Beatrice ONLY attended the party on Thursday night. Anyway, these are some BOOTS.

## Sophie Wessex

Here, per Informative Caption, "Sophie, Countess of Wessex and Philip May tour the Princess Diana Conservatory, along with the spouses of Commonwealth leaders on a visit to Kew Gardens." And what I thought were SOCKS worn with those shoes is actually an out-of-focus leaf in the photo. I almost had a stroke.

I LOVE this dress on Letitiza except: a) there were photos on Twitter where the back button had come undone on her, which, hello, what is the point of having People if one of your People doesn't come fix your button?! and b) Her armpit ventilation kinda fights with her sash.

This look is very reasonable and pretty. I am of the school of thought that believes Letizia is often a little boring in her dress -- she is prone to looking like the Deputy DA -- but I love this.

And finally, in Monaco, Jazmin Grimaldi is visiting her father -- who, as far as I understand it, has been a pretty decent parent to her. She, also, seems like a smart woman -- she graduated from Fordham -- and I guess she's dating a Mellencamp and has been for a while (he's John Cougar's nephew)? Good for you, Jazmin. She resembles her grandmother in those sunglasses.
