The Spanish Royals on Easter
So, this photo of the Spanish Royals this Easter tooks terrificially normal, but if you've been following Spanish Royals Gossip this week, you know some stuff went down at this event; frankly, I don't neccessarily know if I think Letizia was trying to...I don't know what's happening in that video. Letizia definitely looks like she's trying to prevent the photographers from getting a photo of her mother-in-law with her daughters, but who KNOWS what kind of backstory is there? (I enjoy that apparently Marie-Chantel of Greece also got into this on Twitter, all "NOW EVERYONE KNOWS WHAT LETIZIA IS REALLY LKE!!!" The Random Royals Whats Upp text chain must have been aflame upon this holy day.) I look forward to y'all's interpretations and theories.
Letizia
Regardless of their interpersonal drama, this is a VERY cute outfit, and I covet those pants. (They're Hugo Boss and they ARE on sale.)
Queen Letizia
"Hello, everyone, nothing to see here, no drama afoot, EVERYTHING IS FINE!!!"
25th Anniversary of King Juan Carlos' Father's Death
On Tuesday, everyone went to Mass to mark the 25th anniversary of what Informative Caption Calls "King Juan Carlos' Father's Death." If I am reading my Wikipedia correctly, Juan Carlos's father was not ever King, because that's when Franco was in power in Spain, and Franco was allowed to choose his successor and he SKIPPED Juan Carlos's father because he was too liberal? (And all of Juan Carlos's uncles had renounced their spots.) (And then it turned out that Juan Carlos also hated Franco, WHOOPS.) Learning!
Al and Char and Gabriella and Jacques
The Royals of Monaco often come out for this Sainte Devote Rugby Tournament, and it is not a surprise to find out that these little twinsies are still very cute.
Princess Charlene, Crown Prince Jacques and Prince Albert II
Charlene looks like a Bond super villian in those sunglasses -- in a good way -- and also she's really letting her roots come in, which I'm sure is prompting people to speculate that she's pregnant.
Princess Gabriella and Crown Prince Jacques
Gabriella's wee boots! So cute.
Chaz and Cams visit to Queensland, Australia
Meanwhile, these two are on a tour of Australia, and of course Camilla is wearing a hat that involves giant feathers erupting from her head. Informative Caption tells me, "The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall receive a Ceremonial Welcome by the State of Queensland where they were greeted by The Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, The Queensland Governor, The Premier of Queensland. It included a 21 gun salute and an Inspection of the Royal Guard of Honour. After signing the visitors book and inspecting the guard of honour, the royal couple went on a walkabout meeting locals in the botanical gardens." That's nice!
Chaz and Cams visit to Queensland, Australia
They're also in Queensland to attend the Commonwealth Games, and here they're going to the Opening Ceremony.
Chaz and Cams visit to Queensland, Australia
This is the Commonwealth Games' mascot, Borobi, and I can but assume this will be their holiday card this year.
Chaz and Cams visit to Queensland, Australia
Everyone looks hotter in sunglasses.
Cams at Cycling
This was shot at the cycling finals at the Anna Meares Velodrome (and that is, in fact, famous Aussie cyclist Anna Meares with Camilla and her dress is CUTE), and I like to think that Camz is giving a saucy look of appreciation to some firm cycling thighs.
Hugh Jackman and Charlotte Casiraghi
In which Charlotte Casiraghi hangs out with Hugh Jackman.
Crown Princess Mary
This is the "opening session of the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) global forum for development in Paris" and ergo, Crown Princess Mary has gone FULL BUSINESS.
