Prince Harry and Team Rubicon

Bearded, sweaty, dirty, forearm-y Harry hoisting giant slabs of wood in Nepal is something I didn't even know I -- no, I actually did know I wanted this.

Prince Harry and Team Rubicon

Let's turn briefly to Informative Caption: "In this handout provided by Team Rubicon UK, Prince Harry and Matt Fisher help move concrete as they help Team Rubicon UK carry out rebuilding work...Prince Harry joined Team Rubicon UK volunteers for part of Operation: Nirman following his official tour of the country last month."

Prince Harry and Team Rubicon

Harry here is posing with Gurkhas Rudra Limbu and Krishna Gurung and HELLO. They are ALSO both handsome and well forearmed.

Prince Harry and Team Rubicon

I love this baby and his ponytail.

Prince Harry and The UK Invictus Games 2016 Team

ANYWAY, Harry's back in London now, hanging out with the UK's Invictus Games teams -- dogs included! -- and generally being charming.

Prince Harry

WHY are none of the tourists back there by the Buck House gates filming this on their iPhones? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? If this happens when we are in London in a couple of weeks, YOU WILL get a Tweet about it. Mine would have said, "OMG YOU GUYS WE JUST SAW PRINCE HARRY DOING THE HEISMAN IN FRONT OF THE HOME I PLAN TO SHARE WITH HIM SOMEDAY" Or something to that effect.

Prince Harry

Whatever's happening here is HILARIOUS.

Prince Harry Attends The Lord Mayor's Big Curry Lunch

Then, Harry trimmed his beard to go to The Lord Mayor's Big Curry lunch, which I presume is basically just like Aunt Una's Turkey Curry Buffet. I assume Harry met and fell in love with someone in a reindeer jumper.

"No one told me to wear my giant fancy hat."

Prince Harry Attends The Lord Mayor's Big Curry Lunch

Per Informative Caption: "Prince Harry reacts as he looks at a poppy garden with a man dressed as a World War I 'Tommy' British Soldier at the Lord Mayor's Big Curry Lunch in aid of the ABF The Soldiers Charity." Is a Curry Lunch the British version of the American Pancake Breakfast?

Prince Harry Attends The Lord Mayor's Big Curry Lunch

Here, allegedly Harry is chatting up the British Minister of Defense, but whatever they're discussing looks JUICY.

Prince William Attends Lunch To Mark 10 Years As FA President

I feel like Wills's hair is getting shorter and shorter and more and more cropped and it is A GOOD MOVE for Handsomeness Purposes.

Prince William Attends Lunch To Mark 10 Years As FA President

"Oh, trust me, I have NO IDEA how that Emma Watson rumor started. They're totally not dating. I don't think. Wait. No. Well...let me call Kate."

Prince William Attends Lunch To Mark 10 Years As FA President

This luncheon was to celebrate Wills being president of the FA, so I assume he got up and talked about David Beckham at length

Fergie

So, Fergie went to "the Long Beach Formula E race at Long Beach Street Circuit" in Long Beach, CA, which is...really unexpected. Unless she's dating a race-car driver. Which, actually, I can imagine.

Felipe and Letizia

Very demure from Letizia here.

Charlotte Casiraghi

I kind of think the necklace -- which is gorgeous -- fights with the dress? Which is also gorgeous.

Queen Sonja Of Norway

King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway are on a state visit to Rome at the moment. Sometimes I wonder if the world's royals are keeping the pillbox hat industry entirely afloat.

Queen Sonja Of Norway

"Can't wait to show Maxima this new necklace. She's going to love it."

Queen Mathilde

This is the "Vice-Prime Minister and Minister of Cooperation Development, Digital Agenda, Telecom and Postal services Alexander De Croo," and whatever he's saying right now, Mathilde looks like she is NOT into it.

Royals Round-Up, April 8th, 2016
Um. Harry hauling wood in a tee shirt to build houses for people makes me...feel things. This edition of Royals Round-Up has a lot of forearms. Also here at GFY, in case you missed it, Wills & Kate hosted a cocktail reception at Kensington Palace ahead of their trip to India and Bhutan, which kicks off on Sunday and which promises to be very photogenic. And elsewhere of interest: -- This is a really great piece in The Guardian about the way the Queen dresses, tied to a new exhibit of her clothing through the years (which, actually, I think Heather and I will get to see when we're in Scotland this month, so expect a full report!). -- In The Telegraph, they're also revamping bits of Windsor Castle in the upcoming year. We're also going to be THERE this month, but nothing will have happened yet. We'll make mental notes. They appear to be putting in a cafe in this room that they discovered after the fire, that we got to see when we were there researching The Royal We. Always good to be able to sell people crisps on site. -- Norway's royals -- who are in this week's slideshow! -- are in a bit of hot water over their spending habits. (Factually Royal) -- This is fun, at The Court Jeweller: Jewel History: Robes and Jewels of Titled American Women (1911) -- And this is fascinating, over at Order of Splendor: There's a goat on this tiara. -- People is prepping for the India and Bhutan tour by telling us What's Inside Princess Kate's Suitcase for India (and Why It Likely Includes a Kira) AND who all's in their entourage for the trip. You KNOW I love royal logistics. -- BEHOLD this coat: On April 5, Queen Margrethe inaugurated the Army Intelligence Center in Varde. pic.twitter.com/kxEAj6JEUC — Scandinavian Royals. (@crownprincely) April 7, 2016 -- And, finally, this is a TBT, but I never want to miss an opportunity to note that Queen Rania's skirt game is STRONG: منظر رائع لسماء دبي- صورة من زيارتي للإمارات الشهر الماضي #الأردن #الامارات #دبي #حب_الأردن A throwback to this beautiful spot in Dubai- From my last visit to the UAE #Jordan #UAE #Dubai #ThrowBackThursday #TBT #LoveJO A photo posted by Queen Rania Al Abdullah (@queenrania) on Apr 6, 2016 at 11:20pm PDT
