So....Arthur Chatto is Sarah Chatto's son -- she's Margaret's daughter. He's VERY HANDSOME, how did we not know this?! (He's 21 years old and could therefore be my son so I'll just say that some of you younger readers need to get in on this!)

Here he is with a dude called Harry Lidgley, a friend. They've been doing something called the GB Row Challenge, in which they've rowed non-stop around the UK -- I assume literally -- to raise money for the British Red Cross's coronavirus efforts and also for Just One Ocean, which works to keep plastic out of the ocean. Good on you, boys!

75th anniversary of VJ Day

Here, Chaz and Cams "speak with veterans during a national service of remembrance at the National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas, central England on August 15, 2020, to mark the 75th anniversary of VJ (Victory over Japan) Day." Camilla's hat! I love it. (No one is better at charming old men than Camilla; it is one of her greatest strengths.)

Also, the National Memorial Arboretum looks BEAUTIFUL. England really is perfect in the summer. I hope you Brits get to enjoy it a bit, anyway.

Letizia and Felipe's Non-Stop Espadrille Tour of Spain continues in Ibiza, where they did not go to a foam party, but instead "visited the Puig des Molins Monographic museum and Necropolis and the village of Sant Antoni de Portmany on the Balearic island of Ibiza." That sounds neat!

Crown Princess Mary

I thought for a minute that Crown Princess Mary was fishing someone out of the drink, but she's actually "releas[ing] two out of six Thornback rays into the sea from the Kattegat Center in Grenaa, Denmark, 19 August 2020. This is the first time that Thornback rays have been released into Danish waters. Especially in the North Sea and the Kattegat, the stock has fallen markedly. The release is the result of a collaboration between the WWF World Wide Fund for Nature and H;M and will be the first official task for the Crown Princess as the newly appointed president of WWF in Denmark." That WAS Informative. Also, I really like those wedges.
