(I think Philip actually might have gone to this too -- he did an engagement with her of some sort this week. He must be antsy at Balmoral.) ## Sophie Wessex ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/08/shutterstock_10364751g-1566498491.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Invicta Kent Media/Shutterstock (10364751g) Sophie Countess of Wessex being driven to Crathie church this morning British Royals attend Crathie Church, Balmoral, Scotland, UK - 18 Aug 2019 And the Wessexes are also still in Scotland -- Sophie looks like she might go shoot some birds after this, in that hat. ## Longines FEI European Championships, Rotterdam ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/08/shutterstock_10367030n-1566498525.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by IBL/Shutterstock (10367030n) Crown Princess Mary with the Danish team during the Longines FEI European Championships Longines FEI European Championships, Rotterdam, The Netherlands - 20 Aug 2019 Here, Crown Princess Mary is hanging out with the Danish team during the Longines FEI European Championships, which I BELIEVE is horse-y something or other? There must have been a Festive Dress Dress Code for this funeral, which I think is a lovely idea. [The Court Jeweller has good coverage of this funera](https://www.thecourtjeweller.com/2019/08/a-vibrant-remembrance-for-princess.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)l. Princess Christina's [Wiki is quite interesting](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Princess%5FChristina%5Fof%5Fthe%5FNetherlands?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). (Her near-blindness as a child caused a scandal because [her mother fell under the spell of a faith healer!](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greet%5FHofmans?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io#Court%5Fcrisis%5F1948%E2%80%931956) Presumably her mother felt responsible because Christina's blindness was due to her mother having caught rubella during her pregnancy, and that all just spiraled. \[Of course, getting rubella is NOT anyone's fault, but I think it would be human nature for a person to perhaps blame herself for this and then for things to get wonky.\]) I think she was Wax's....great aunt? [Royals Round-Up, August 23rd, 2019They're BACK. Well, not really.
