Pierre Casiraghi and Beatrice Borromeo

I basically just wanted to look at this dress again. SWOON.

Andrea Casiraghi and his son Sasha

Andrea is Pierre's older brother. My selection of photos of wedding guests was haphazard this go-round (Getty didn't send a stringer), but I've linked to tons of coverage of the rest of the Monaco royals at the wedding in the links. (This kid always looks irritated. I love it.)

ana Del Rey, her partner Francesco Carrozzini, Franca Sozzani

We do have some shots of people leaving the hotel to go to the wedding, though, and let me just tell you, this wedding was HIGHLY PATTERNED. It was great. I hate Lana's shoes, but I love her dress. (And am amused by how cranky her boyfriend looks here. Cheer up, friend! It's a wedding!)

Crown Princess Mette-Marit and Crown Prince Haakon

They look nice; CPH is VERY handsome in his morning suit, no?

QE2

Allow me to present you with the complete Informative Caption for the next four photos: "In this handout provided by Royal Household, Queen Elizabeth II poses for a portrait taken by British photographer Hugo Rittson Thomas with a technique that involves the use of a mirror to show each sitter from all four sides (front, back and both profiles) on May 01, 2013. The Queen is wearing a day dress designed by Ms Angela Kelly, LVO, who has served as Personal Assistant and Senior Dresser to The Queen since 2002. Her Majesty is wearing the Waterloo badge of The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards and the portrait was taken to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty's Colonelship of the Regiment. The pictures form part of an exhibition which will open later this month at Eleven Fine Art, in Pimlico, London, which features other pictures taken of individuals with Royal Appointments."

The Royal Household Release Royal Portraits By British Photographer Hugo Rittson Thomas

The photos are pretty neat; there are a lot of them, apparently.. The Telegraph has more intel, and other photos

Prince William

We do have this one of Wills, which is weird to me because his eyes look so dark here, and we all know they are blue. Anyway, INFORMATIVE CAPTION, TAKE IT AWAY: "The Duke of Cambridge is photographed in his frockcoat for the Irish Guards. The portrait was taken at the St. Patrick's Day Parade where the Duke of Cambridge presented the Irish Guards with the shamrock." AKA, this event -- it's always interesting to find out what else people had happening on a given day. Obviously, we all know W&K popped out to do their Shamrock Thing, but then he had to hustle off to get his photo taken and she (I assume) had to secretly go somewhere and apprehend criminals with Anne.

Camz

This outfit is kind of Peak Camilla, with the exception that she hardly ever wears that tiara (I think it's her family tiara) because it's not nearly wreath-like enough for her head.

Crown Princess Mary

CPM popped over to Copenhagen Fashion Week, as is her wont, and looks appropriately fashionable indeed.

Spanish Royals Pose at Marivent Palace

And here's the traditional "Hey! We're in Mallorca!" shot from the Spanish royals. I love that the girls are wearing cute matching sparkly sandals.

Princess Sofia (closer to her Dad) looks, in particular, very cute in this shot. Letizia also deserves props for Making Her Own Wind Machine, as Tyra would have put it.

Felipe and Letizia

"Dammit, I just realized this shirt is a bit sheer and everyone can see my royal bra."

"PRETEND EVERYTHING IS FINE."

King Felipe

Did I choose the one photo of the many of King Felipe On a Boat where you could get the best look at his butt? YES OF COURSE I DID. Don't you know me at all?

Royals Round-Up, August 7th, 2015
Friday at last! I have a variety of things to bring you -- further bits and bobs from the Casiraghi/Borromeo wedding and King Felipe in shorts on a boat among them! If you missed it, we had coverage of the aforementioned Casiraghi/Borromeo wedding over the weekend and, you guys, it was SO PRETTY. It might have been my actual dream wedding. As a reminder, in case you've been off on vacay for the last couple of weeks, The Royal We is now available on e-book basically everywhere. Elsewhere: This is a good piece on People: Martin Katz, the jeweller, talks about his encounters with Wills and Kate on Mustique. Why am I not in Mustique right now??? The Telegraph reports that Kate's now qualified as an advanced diver. Why am I not an advanced diver right now??? Also at People, apparently Pippa's phone screensaver is a snap of Prince George. I am sure there are people in the world whose screensaver is a snap of George who are not even related to George. Vanity Fair runs down The Most Stylish Royal Weddings of the Decade . . . So Far At History Extra, for you tapestry lovers (such as myself): James V’s lost tapestries recreated at Stirling Castle Royalista has good coverage of some of the best-dressed guests at the Casiraghi/Borromeo wedding. As did our friends at People. And the Royal Hats blog covered -- as you might guess! -- some of its most noteworthy hats. Per The Telegraph, Fergie has up and moved to the Swiss Alps, as one does. HRH Duchess Kate has an excellent piece about Kate's uniform (you know the one: striped top, jeans, blazer). I'll just leave the headline PopSugar wrote for this piece right here: Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia Show PDA During a Family Beach Day The ladies at All Things Georgian have written a fascinating piece about George VI's summer jaunt to Scotland, apt because QE2 happens to be summering there right now. Related, The Crown Chronicles has a piece about the history of the Queen's annual Balmoral jaunt. For those of you missing Prince Harry (he is still in Africa), he'll be back next month, and flying a Spitfire, no less.
