FUGG LIFE
Informative Caption says that Chaz "pours a pint of Arbor Mosaic during a visit to the Fleece Inn, a community pub supported by the Pub is The Hub initiative, in Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire," but HELLO, he's standing right next to the tap for a beer called FUGG LIFE. CHARLES. CHARLES, I SEE YOU. Tell Kate to get rid of the beige shoes for me!!!!!!!!
Prince Charles visit to Tetbury
And here, Chaz "chats with Emily, nine, in a year five class at at Leighterton Primary School, Gloucestershire, where he is there to see the new school building and watch pupils take part in a Christmas performance." This feels VERY festive. Who knew Charles enjoyed crafts so much? I hope he spends these next few days making Christmas cookies with the Cambridges.
Camz Visits Wiltshire
"This air horn is going to come in VERY handy at Christmas this year."
QEII Arrives at King's Lynn
The Queen always takes the train up to Norfolk for the holiday break and she looks VERY chic in this camel-colored coat and scarf. I sincerely spend a lot of my time trying to figure out how to tie a scarf on my head so that it looks like this on me. (I think I've been tying it too tightly.)
Duke Of Edinburgh at Windsor Castle
For those of you who are concerned about Philip's health -- and, indeed, he is old -- he has been out driving his carriages around Windsor ALL week.
Princess Eugenie in Galvan
This is Heather, popping in to try and put SOME captions here until Jess gets back. Mine will not be as delightful. Anyway: Eugenie is here at a premiere, and I have a theory that she's trying to up her profile because they all know we're closer to a Charles monarchy and he wants to tighten belts so that she and Bea aren't really in the core anymore, so she wants to establish herself and win some public favor. I don't mean that as an insult, either, and I actually think it's GOOD to be motivated as a royal to do your part and give back.
CP Victoria, Prince Daniel, King Carl Gustaf, Queen Sylvia, Prince CP, Princess Sofia
This is the "re-dedication of King Karl XIV Johan statue," and they are all pretty adept at looking unfazed by the snow. CPV looks the calmest.
Crown Princess Victoria, Princess Estelle, Queen Silvia, King Carl Gustaf, Princess Sofia of Sweden, Prince Carl Philip, Princess Madeleine
This is called "Queen Silvia 75th Birthday Seminar," and I'm sure that means something other than where my head goes, which is: to a class all about how to celebrate her birthday. Everyone looks lovely, but I am weirdly troubled by the location of the ankle straps on Sofia's shoes. Aren't they... too low, right?
Bernard Clerfayt, Queen Mathilde, King Philippe
These two are visiting something called Biloba House, and I couldn't quite follow that translation, but it seems like a living facility for older adults who can still be independent but want community. That plaid suit is EVERYTHING that the old alumni wore to Notre Dame on football weekends.
King Philippe and Queen Mathilde
Did you know that the Belgium men's field hockey team won the World Cup this year? WELL IT DID. I believe Mathilde in this shot is wishing she'd worn red shoes.
King Philippe, Queen Mathilde and their children Gabriel, Eleonore, Emmanuel and Elisabeth
That is a JAZZY chevron dress for this Christmas concert. I enjoy that as kids get older, they start to want to look Very Cool in their photos.
Letizia
She looks very nice at the Fashion Awards, but not very FASHION at the Fashion Awards, which is a bummer.
Felipe & Letizia
Sparkly. Is that also a hair shorter on her legs than she usually goes? I'm not saying it's SHORT, because clearly it is not, but... I don't know. I'm not Jessica and it's a holiday Friday. You're lucky this doesn't just say SPARKLEZZZZZZ.
Maxima
"Now I know why my bow tie made her giggle."
