It's our final Royals Round-Up of the year! But definitely pop back during the holidays, as we will be covering the Annual Hand-Holding Walk to Church on Christmas, as well as Any Other Time The Queen Drags Them All Out To Church.

Speaking of Christmas, and of hand-holding, we had a lot of Royals Activities this week. ICYMI:

[Harry and Meghan released their engagement photo](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/harry-meghan-engagement-portraits-12-2017/)s!

[The Cambridges sent out a holiday card](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/the-cambridges-holiday-card-12-2017/)!

[Everyone went to lunch at the Queen's](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/queens-christmast-luncheon-2017-12-2017/)!

And, of interest elsewhere:

We talked about this in a couple of posts this week, but [Lainey also took on Princess Michael of Kent, and her totally offensive jewelry this week](https://pubx.co/sqDD7h?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). As I noted in the comments of the engagement portrait post, the Kents ALSO live in Kensington Palace, so it's not like Meghan only has to deal with her at holidays. They're literally living in the same compound. I have a new candidate to go down the Downton well.

Our friends at What Kate Wore have [a little update on Kate going to the Royal Ballet to see the Nutcracker yesterday](https://whatkatewore.com/2017/12/21/kate-sees-royal-ballets-nutcracker/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) (it wasn't a publicized event, so no photographers were sent to cover it).

This is from last week, but it was funny, at Vanity Fair: [A Fond Farewell to Prince Harry, Third Wheel](https://www.vanityfair.com/style/photos/2017/12/prince-harry-third-wheel-photos-william-kate-middleton?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

Relevant to our interests, at Tatler: [How Britain’s finest stately homes do Christmas decorations.](https://www.tatler.com/gallery/how-britains-finest-stately-homes-do-christmas-decorations?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

At People: [A Silly Gift Exchange! Backyard Soccer! Inside 7 Very Merry Royal Family Holiday Traditions ](https://people.com/royals/7-very-merry-royal-family-holiday-traditions/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). I appreciate People for reminding me that I'm going to need to write the annual Princes Play Soccer post this weekend...
