Never has there been a photo where he looked like more of an incorrigible scamp. I am putting this on my piano!
In fact, I don't know what he did OR WHO HE DID over his holiday break, but he suddenly looks about five years younger.
INFORMATIVE CAPTION TIME: "Britain's Prince Harry laughs with youngsters involved in a film project during a visit to the Full Effect Youth Project in Nottingham." This is a great picture. I assume he just told them all how he let Goat loose in Princess Anne's bedroom over Christmas and CHAOS DELIGHTFULLY ENSUED.
Meanwhile, over in King's Lynn, Her Majesty stalks through the graveyard and laughs at death. "I've got twenty-five years left," she chortles into her handbag. "YOUR ICY HANDS CAN TAKE A BREAK."
I know I've been doing this awhile because I just cooed, "oh, I always love that coat on her." QE2 is not immune to a replay. I am not immune to a fur cuff on a Queen.
I enjoy that this photo makes it look like Camilla is thinking, "oh my god stop talking to me about your fur turban! I HEAR ABOUT THEM AT HOME ALLLL THE TIME."
Informative Caption was not informative here so all I can tell you is: I don't even know. HOWEVER. Can we talk about the pinstripes with that pocket square and that tie on Chaz? That is WELL FREAKING PLAYED.
They look quite good here, too, actually. I LOVE that color on Camilla. I wish I were draped in velvet right now myself.
Everyone here looks appropriately glum because this is a funeral for Johan Martin Ferner and I included it this week because (a) M-M's hair is kind of working for me, but, more importantly, (b) Johan Ferner was very interesting. Per the unassailable historians of Wikipedia, he was an Olympic silver medalist who was married to Princess Astrid, who fled the Nazis and spent the war in Washington DC, and then she went to Oxford, and then she married the aforementioned divorced, commoner Olympian and all of that together there is a book. (Astrid's sister Ragnhild is ALSO a book, because SHE married her wartime bodyguard and it was a total scandale and then they ran off to Rio. FOREVER! He is now a billionaire shipping magnate.)
Meanwhile, in Denmark, Crown Princess Mary wore a kind of good blanket to a fashion show.
And a definitely good coat-dress when out with Crown Prince Frederik (currently President of the Blue Suit Club whilst Wills is off drinking fruity drinks as George lobs coconuts at his head).
"Another criminal behind bars! Good show, everyone!"
I'm not sure even the elegant mien of Queen Mathilde can WHOLLY sell a brown dress with a black valance on it.
And, in the Netherlands, Queen Maxima gives us her very best Mary Tyler Moore.
